Sounds like I kinda have to do a lot of driving and hope to see them on my way by them. Hmm...A car chase would mean that there is wreckless driving, and I may be able to find them that way. Thanks.
The Big Finale 07-29-2004 08:14 AM
It's kind of all coming down to a Vera vs. Angel showdown.
snakemarcato13 07-29-2004 08:24 AM
I see. My primary concern was to find my party. My fights involve Big Soh more than anything else.

And I am terrified. No, seriously. I'm absolutely scared of Vera. I mean, all I've got with me is Beck, and what good is he going to do? He'll probably run away or something. Tongue

I could handle Roger. I have a sense of his panache and all. Is there a synopsis of this, or should I just read like the last couple of pages of the RP? Oh, and is anyone managing this monster? Wink

*walks down the hallway looking for the MFL's vending machine*

...*spots WANTED sign*...

hmmmmmm............

*opens door next to it, labeled: "BIG-OH!: RPG DISCUSSION"*

*a wall of RPers fall out and squash him*

....x_X....hey I saw you were lookin fer a role player...I need a new challenge (having not had much of one since The Union RPG died). I'll give it a go at Roger if you want, I'd just need to figure out what the plot is, where you guys are planning it to go...and how major you want Roger's role to be (stupid question: YES; important for me at this point: HELL YAH)

Technically, thats Big Finale's job, but its sort of a group effort. I was in this towards the beggining as Big Ear, but everyone left the speakeasy and I kinda sucked anyway... so...
The Big Finale 07-30-2004 02:15 AM
Evan, no offense, but I think I'll give Stryker the go-ahead on this one. You're welcome to take one of the Big O characters left or make up your own, but this RP takes itself fairly seriously. Just a warning.

Stryker-- Make sure to read EVERY SINGLE PAGE of the role-play to date. I find it near impossible to sum up everything; there's just so much going on, and there's really not a single post which isn't significant in some way or another. Daunting, yes. Worth it, yes.

Big Money-- Why not bring yourself back into it? We only saw Big Ear in the Speakeasy when Roger was there; why not make him a shady character hidden in the background, watching everybody's moves? It would sure explain how he knows so much.

Did you see me in "The Union RPG"? Being alan was kinda tough...I had to think completely different from the way I usually do.
And also, most RPs take themselves seriously. I know and understand that (I made the Speakeasy RPG you know...STILL WAITING FOR FP TO POST HIS FREAKIN TURN >_<)

*ahem*

What other Big O characters are left? I might take one of them. Smile (though I'll still need briefing...i have no clue where the RPG is at this point in ways of plot and characters)
Big Money 07-30-2004 02:37 AM
I don't know... If I think of something fun or clever for Big Ear to do, he'll probably jump in and do it... I'll give it some thought...
The Big Finale 07-30-2004 02:46 AM
The character listings are all on the first post of this topic. If they're not listed, you can take them. Free-rangers can't be taken either.

On the subject of briefing, I'll advise you to do what I advised Stryker to do: Read the whole of the RP.

Snake didn't stop, Wazpy. He motioned for Bustems to pull up nect to him as they drove.
Wazpy 07-30-2004 11:24 AM
Blast it, I'll edit it up then. I was under the impression he stopped since Angel and Beck drove off so easily.

Well, now I forced him to stop... unless he backs up... but thats for him to decide. I doubt he wants to be locked up Wink

Well, what do you know? I won my first audition! Actually this is an honor. Roger is no simple role.

I'll get my make-up on this evening. I'm trying like heck to get the first sections of my fic ready to post.
Gummibear 07-31-2004 07:08 PM
Sorry for the breather...it's been a busy summer. Whenever I can I'll jump in as Emilia once agian.^^
The Big Finale 08-01-2004 07:34 AM
Welcome back, Gummi!

And now, I will attempt to sum up all the important information by character for absolutely no reason. All of this is just my assumptions and interpretations on the current story; feel free to ignore it all.

Angel
Hard to say. She does know that Vera has arrived in Paradigm (likely due to the fact that Vera is the only one with enough authority to dispatch Gaspard). Beyond that, Angel remains a mystery.

Alan Gabriel
Who can tell?

Alex Rosewater
Alex knows just about everything that's going on. He has in his possession the papers of Michael Seebach, as well as the android R-D, fully repaired by Paradigm's scientists. He also knows that Amelia Seebach is able to communicate with megadei. Furthermore, it was at his word that the mysteriously resurrected Michael Seebach was assualted. He also recently discharged R. Frederick O'Reilly from the service of Paradigm and was reponsible for unleashing the (relatively weak) Archetype 2 upon Paradigm, just to test Roger. Furthermore, he has also offered Big Duo to Amelia Seebach freely, on the condition that she use him.

Amelia Seebach
The wife of Michael Seebach. In her past, her father was one of the men who maintained megadei; more specifically, Big Duo. She used to treat the silent voice she spoke with (Big Duo) as an imaginary friend. The Big Duo that was in her husband Michael's (Schwarzwald's) and now Alex's hands was the Big Duo from her past, the 'imaginary friend' she always spoke with. Another revalation revealed that she was Big Duo's Dominus.

Big Duo
Enough a character in his own right, Big Duo is the strong silent type.

Beck
Nothing. All he knows is that he doesn't like Alan, Snake, or Roger.

Emilia Townshend (Isalai Tsai)
Another tough one. She's the daughter of a Union agent, one that Vera apparently didn't like, and one of the richest men in Paradigm. She suffered a bad reaction to the sound of Vera humming the Union summoning song, and has memories from a long time ago.

R, Dorothy Wayneright
Another mysterious type. Dorothy, like Roger, has no idea the things that are going on in Paradigm, but did find Michael Seebach in the street, carrying him back to the Smith Mansion.

R. Frederick O'Reilly
The only android detective, Freddy was responsible for bringing Amelia Seebach to Paradigm Central as part of his investigation into Schwarzwald. He has an almost sympathetic outlook towards Amelia, but for the most part, has remained silent, excepting notifying Amelia about Big Duo reaching out to her.

Roland Bustems
A tubby cop. He knows who Beck is. That's about it for Roland.

Roger Smith
Somewhat of a mystery at this point besides the obvious. He knows nothing of the goings-on that have been happening (besides the fight with the Union's Gaspard and his brief but enlightning conversation with Snake Marcato), although that soon may change...

Snake Marcato
The "Mercenary of Hell", a mysterious man who lived outside of Paradigm. He has his own megadeus (Big Soh), which is centered around laser attacks. Snake's eyes are a bright, almost glowing red, as a result of experimentation on him many years ago.. His wife was also one of the research subjects, but she has gone missing. Snake, after trying to destroy the laboratory and scientists, was sealed away in cryogenic sleep. He knows that the people who were experimented on (refered to as 'Schizo-fighters') were endowed with superior abilities, including, in his case, a virtual immunity to the effects of achohol and an inherent skill in piloting megadei.

Vera Ronstadt
Vera is knowledgable about Snake Marcato; it's likely the experiments performed on him and the other test subjects were done by Union scientists stationed in Paradigm. She also seems to hate Emilia's mother (and, by association, Emilia) with a passion.

Err: That bites!

Ignignot: Indeed, Err. Accidental double posts are teh suck.

hey guys, long time no type. I have some unfortunate news. I am afraid I am not going to be able to continue playing Dastun anymore. My best friend has started something he wants me to help and I don't want you guys to suffer with any delays on my part. I am sorry if this causes too much trouble.
stryker 08-02-2004 02:16 AM
I just wanted to inform you that i'm still reading!! I don't know why this is so tedious, but it is. You guys really need to write some fanfics if you haven't, this is quite entertaining. Oh well, time for beauty sleep, hopefully monday or tuesday I can officially join in.

And no Dan Dastun?! He's the life of the party! Wink

You...missed...Schwarzwald...

So I'll just have to do a summary myself. Big Grin

Schwarzwald
Apparently he has been revived from the dead, though how or why remains to be seen. He no longer operates under the name "Schwarzwald," returning to his previous identity as "Michael Seebach." His motives are still unknown, as it is unclear whether he still holds an undying thirst for the Truth or if he just wants to return back to his normal life.

As he left the Speakeasy, however, he was attacked by an old acquaintance now in the service of Alex Rosewater. He experienced some strange memories dating back before the Event while he was unconcious. R. Dorothy Wayneright discovered him and is in the process of bringing him to Smith Mansion, where he will undoubedly meet up with the hitherto inactive Norman Berg.
