Sorry about the "destruction" of Gaspard, I wanted to find my party, and my car. Give it some time, I'm with Angel and Beck now, and I don't think Roger can take Gaspard by himself. I'm confused. Emilia, scream!!! We can't find you!!!

Well then I guess we all need to wait for Alan to say something...since pretty much everyone is influenced by what he's doing now. If he's just being crazy, I'd expect some dark area near a dock or something...but if this is Union related and he's going to Grand Central's area, maybe we can work in a mention of the Hotel Roger Smith

And, snake, you sure are shooting around a lot...you're in every scene and talk to almost every character. I think your character should take a "Chill pill" once and a while

Oh and one more thing, if you ever feel the need to kill Bustems for some reason, you're allowed. I mean, I love being him and I'd like to continue with him for a while, but the reason I chose not to be Norman or something is because we need a few normal people around. People without and deep story. He's totally expendible and if he was killed, I would just make a new average person to play as.
However, I don't want him killed...I'm just saying you can...

I have no intention of killing him.

Oh, I noticed that I have become quite the character, but people keep interrupting me with a Megaduce!!! First Gaspard, then ppl leave my car, now Alan gets in my way.... Why do ppl have to get in my way?

Snake, you don't have to get involved with those things...they're not all directed at you. Sometimes you get in their way

well what am I supposed to do? My company left my car, and I get bored easily. wait....fine I'll leave....

I have to agree with Wazpy.. We left the car because we didn't want to get killed, not because we're trying to get in your way. You don't HAVE to follow us.


And, this is just me, but I don't understand how you supposedly found us so fast. We're WAY far away from where Gaspard was (we ran for probably thirty minutes, and then more running after Alan, which would put us quite a ways from the fighting), and besides that, we're not trying to be obvious, so Beck wouldn't have been seen so easily. Beck WANTS to ditch Snake. Angel doesn't really care, I guess. She's more concerned with Alan. And Alan has nothing against you, so I don't see how he is "getting in your way", other than he has Emilia and you seem to have a thing for her.


Anyway. If you don't think Roger can take Gaspard by himself, why bother running off to find Angel and Beck, which leaves Roger to (possibly) get himself killed? Angel won't be very happy about that. I think maybe you should be a little more, um.. well, you seem to jump around a lot. You're in one place, and then within two lines you're suddenly in another scene, then you jump back to something else.. I think maybe you should stick with one "storyline" and see what happens.


That's just me, though. I don't want to sound like I'm trying to direct the story or anything, it's just a suggestion.

hey, Hey, HEY!!!!! Look, I drove around, looking for a yellow suit. Now, the jpoint at hand is that I left, and went to where Big Soh is, which also happens to be the Genetics lab I came from. Now, You have your storyline, I have mine. Piecing together my memories to this lab, which you will probably never find. Find your friends, do what you wish with alan, leave me out, I'm busy. If you really need me around, you have the frequency of my comm.

I'm finally doing something you can't get mad about.


Oh, one more thing, should you guys ever want my character dead, let me know. I have a few ways to kill him off (look at his position...in the lab), but I won't do it unless you guys want me to.

Ok, locations: HA! Unless you know exactly where you are, just give us a pretty good estimate. I think if you say "Dorothy was running toward ____ St, which was where Roger's megadues seemed to be..." that should work for location. I think references would be good.

Schwarzwald: If you really need to, I think you could just take a look at Big Finale's and my posts. That will hopefully give you all the info you need. I hope you weren't mad that I played Freddy a little bit, but in my last post, I really needed someone Amelia could lean on, so she turned to Freddy, who is really only observing, at the moment (as most of the action is between Alex and Amelia). (I also made him a little understanding, which I hope you don't mind also). Um...if you really need a summation, I guess PM Big Finale or me, since we're more the story line your in.

Uh...me thinks Emelia T. would be VERY saddened by Snake's death. It might be good if you expanded on the lab though. I'd like to see what happens.

BTW: I'm sorry Dorothy hasn't entered the scene yet. I'm thinking I might just throw her in, but I kind of was waiting for when Roger returns from battle quite possibly. (Hey, where has our Roger been? I know he said he was busy...). HEY! I'll let you guys decide, should Dorothy enter now or later? (I think she really isn't going to do anything at the moment, unless I connected her with Gespard somehow...hm...)

Um, okay, so... the way I see it, Alan is dragging Emilia through the streets in order to get Angel to follow. The object was to get Angel to come to Vera, but since Vera was wrapped up in the battle with Big Soh, I was just having Alan waste time. :embarassed: But if that isn't gonna work out, someone just let me know? ^_^;

And if it DOES work out, erm... could someone (preferably Angel or Vera) post so I can regain my bearings? *sweat* Cuz... Alan's just kinda floating in a nondescript part of the city as of now...

Snake, I apologize. I was having a bad day and I took it out on you. I'm really sorry, because you didn't really do anything wrong, I was just grumpy. I'll have Angel contact you eventually, I'm sure. And I think that Emilia would like it if you'd join our party again in the future. )

Let's see... the battle with the updated Archetype took place near the Speakeasy, if that helps anything. I think Gaspard is north from the Speakeasy, but that's just a guess.

Does anyone mind me putting R-D in with my last post? I just thought she'd make an interesting addition to the cast. Also, I was considering making a list of "free-range" characters that anyone can control, like say, Dastun's boss, or Norman. Does that sound like a good idea?

About Norman; would anyone mind if I borrowed the character for a while, similar to how Pen has been using Dorothy until someone else comes along to claim him?

Yes, I think free-range would work very well, until someone comes along to permanately take the role of the character. However, I think we'd have to make clear when a character is being used by someone else; we wouldn't want two people posting conflicting actions for one character at the same time, for example.

XN, I read the old RP, and I have to say yes, plllleeeeassseee take Norman. The way you played him was amazing.

As for the free-range setup, yeah, we'd make it clear when a free-ranger was being used, but that leaves the question as to how long they get to use them.

Also, I was thinking that it's about time the RPG had itself a name. What do you guys think? My idea was "Final Negotiation".

Hm... as to title...I've been pretty content just calling it the "RPG" for now... *Shrugs*

As to Free-Range, I say, limit the use to that post. Unless a poster states otherwise, a free-range character doesn't need to be used forever by one person.

And if R. D. is a free range, watch your back Alex Rosewater.
(Throwing R. D. in there ended any further argument though....I wonder what I can do...probably won't post until tomorrow...)
