Okay, I've got a post well underway, but! I need to know what Dorothy's up to! Is she still in the penthouse? And is Big Money still playing? If so, did his character actually leave Roger's house, or is he still there? Inquiring minds want to know!

I think it's intriguing just as it is. Juxt want to make some comments.
The fact that Roger drove off and left you is really odd, as Roger would never leave you alone. But maybe you didn't really want to be seen, so you weren't, and Roger assumed that shadow was you getting into Snake's Griffon.
One thing to keep in mind - you mentioned that you didn't remember the anime all that well - is that Roger's stronghold has an interesting modification. Half of it is a mansion. The other half is hollowed out, and serves as a Megadeus hangar and armory. So Big O is always concealed from view. He even leaves the mansion from underground passageways. And the mansion has many floors. I'm thinking 25, probably filled with things like many floors of storage space, guest quarters, a little infirmary and a gym along with the places Roger claims for himself and "the family." The badly wounded Michael Seebach is probably in one of the remote guest rooms tended to by Dorothy and Norman. This is just in case you go back to the mansion.
Oh, and if you do go to the mansion, be SURE and stay away from Michael Seebach. This is like a top secret thing no one knows about.
Another thing to remember is that you're many miles from Paradigm City - or were, that's where Snake's confrontation was, out in the middle of barren wilderness. But the fact that you saw Big O perhaps means that you can percieve things. You sensed him talking to you after all. Or maybe that was a hallucination. If you want to make it real, one thing I would suggest is to edit in a passage where you describe Julia running back in the pitch blackness to Paradigm, where Big O is working out at the outskirts of town. And maybe she has night vision. I'd better hush up and go to bed, I'm typing in my sleep as it is.
So rather than suggest you change anything, I'm suggesting you leave it alone and play with the consequences of this stuff. Or maybe that one suggestion, whatever. It'll be a lot of fun.
Oh, and Waspy, that would be great! I think we'd all be disappointed though if R Bustem's didn't make an appearance.
