Ahhhh. So that explains why none of my e-mail was from you. I misinterpreted. I'll look for it whenever you get it across.

so have we decided what we are going to do in the meantime??
We have possible mini epiodes with:
--Snake and Julia
--Dastun and mysterious information found during the search through the archives
--Snake and Rampage's pasts
--Beck...doing...something O_o?!
--Roger and Dorothy doing something
Did I miss any?
Personally, the fight/memory-bit between Snake and Rampage could end up being a bit too much while we're waiting for FP and it might turn into another major plot (which we can afford to wait a little while for). Snake and Julia might have something...but I don't know what might happen between them next o.o;; Dastun's little search might prove interesting since the last time Dastun went on an investigation like that, we came face to face with some pretty interesting episodes ("Winter Night Phantom" and the last bit of "The Big Fight" and the begining bit of "The War of Paradigm City") and plus not much can really be dug into so it'll be a nice short mini-episode. Beck...err...dunno what we can do with him x_X;;...though it would be interesting either way. Roger and Dorothy...any time we get into Roger and Dorothy's relationship we get a little close to the line which separates "in-character" and "out-of-character". Roger tends to become a bit too romantic and not the usually suspicious/nonchalent guy he is, and Dorothy becomes just a bit too human (I know she's becoming more human-like through the show but sometime in fanfics and RPGs I see almost too human-like). But hey, I ain't the person controllin them here.

*hmmm*
Personally, I'd like to go for Beck doing something to start, most definitely. Roger and Dorothy doing something... well, they're really the stars. Something will happen with them no matter what we do, so that's a moot point.
Snake and Rampage's pasts can wait, I agree, but there should be some foreshadowing, most definitely.
I vote for all three.
Then without further ado, shall we, people? *nudge nudge, hint hint*

Mm-hm.
And with that last post, a tip of the fedora and a swirl of red cloak, I hopefully wish to grant total control of everyone's favorite pyscho android, R-D, to Xel.

...
Ok, so this is my understanding:
You folks are doing mini-arcs while FP is on hiatus... And then when he posts you folks will start a new arc? Or continue the other one? I want to rejoin (probably as b-money, but have his real name also... just because b-money can sound a bit unprofessional), but I'm waiting for a suitable break in activities...

Pretty much right. Once FP comes back we're going to be doing a little more stuff with Norman and Seebach, but for the moment we're probably going to do a little delving into Beck's past.
My last post was essentially the wrap-up for the side story that went on during the whole Vera Showdown-- namely, once Pen posts, Amelia will pretty much be scot-free with Big Duo at her side.
As for multiple arcs, really, it's been only one arc with side storys that are just all coming together.
EDIT: H-ray! I'll add you to the roster immediately, Xel!

Yay! So Beck gets a little time in the spotlight now? This'll be fun.

Um.. once I think of something for Beck to do. I've got ideas, and Gummi and I need to talk about him and Emilia, 'cause that'll definitely take up some of it.. ooh, I'm excited now! I've always wondered a lot of things about Beck-- assuming I can get my muddled mind in order, this should be interesting.
Argh omfg I'm going to bed now. We'll talk about stuff tomorrow. -.-

Ooh. Now this was expected, I'll admit it. Normally, what you do surprises me completely, this didn't. However, it has such a flare to it that it might as well be a surprise. And now, things start to get interesting.
I wonder though, when does Alan get any sleep? He's everywhere all the time, practically.

yeah....about that whole Snake/Rampage thing, I agree that the fight should wait until at least after Snake takes Roger to the lab. However, I do think the two should at least meet beforehand to get something built up.
It works something like this:
Remembrance/build-up ~> Revelation (Roger at the lab) ~> Climax (fight)

Well hat I wanted to do with Snake/ Rampage is have it set up to where, for the moment Snake doesn't remember Rampage, he dismisse him as a drunk. Then Rampage leaves and try to recollect himself but is all of a suddenly being swamped by these memories of his past with Snake. Something very similar to that, i'll wait to see what snakemarcato does first and try to work from there, but who is to say that we can't have a bunch of little fights to buld up to the climax.

Ehm, Darkside? I have a slight problem with this. Technically, nanomachines don't exist in Paradigm. I'll grant they could've been injected into him before the Event, but that doesn't explain how Rampage knows about them, since he would've forgotten everything. Anyway, I'm just curious.
We really need to get Snake, Julia and Rampage's histories straightened out. They're almost as tangled as Emilia, Vera, Angel and Beck are.

Um, Xel? Question. Why would R.D. not find Alan's tomato serial?
EDIT: Oh, right. He's only twenty-four. That was stupid of me.

OOOOOOOOKK! Well, as soon as I get my modding done, I'll attempt to get a post up (I'm doing this before class...I is smrt!!11 ). Another little story arc I could play with is Amelia's memories and past, and also her interaction with Freddy. She needs to figure out how she's going to fix Big Duo's hands (assuming face is normal, YES!). Mostly, it would be filler but it would buy FP some time.
As to Roger and Dorothy, yeesh, I need to read over that stuff again and see where we were on that whole situation...
We'll see what I can do between tests, studying, and events I should show up to...and stuff....
Later,

Definately looking forward to working with you Tifaria! ^___^ I've got some ideas for Beck and Emilia!

Well I got the idea from a game called Deus Ex, there are nanomachines built by certain gropus that the public and even the governemet don't know about i.e. ALex Rosewater. Anyways seince Rampage is given a story as to why he wakes up on a hospital bed with all sorts of needles in him, the story is that the scientists don't have the tecnology to completely erase certain memories and in Rampages example its everything about Snake. So what they do is they inject certain nanomachines that can detect the specefic neural signals to bring up memories on Snake. The nanomacines then target these signals and destroy them, which is the real reason why Rampage suffers from powerful headaches, not erasing anything from Rampage's memory but they are blocking certain parts off.
The only way to get rid of these certain nanomachines is to see Snake himself, which the doctors thought were completely immpossible at the time, since Snake was presumed dead. So they fill Rampages head with the story that he had wittingly submittied himself to nano experiments and they even play a phony video of Rampage giving his statement. They told him in the "video" that the experiment may damage some meories of his, explaining the video. They also cover their steps in to explaining his scars and cybernetic enhancements, they told Rampage that he was caught in an explosion during a bothced bombing mission. Rampage, with no reason to doubt the evidence, beleived them.
Well thats what I want to use.

One thing you really have to know is that I'm also pulling most of the stuff I write completely out of my ass, leaving lovely people like you to rationalize it for me. ;D
I also imagined it somewhat possible that Alan
isn't a tomato. That could be for any number of reasons.
Yes, I know it was fairly expected of me. I wanted to drag it out and give it a neat resolution, but I was getting REALLY tired and I couldn't think of any better way to end it. You must admit those two could fight practically forever. >.>
Anyway, I would very much like your thoughts as to what I/we should do with these developments now. Because I really have no idea.

Allright, I'm posting a little intro/setup for Beck. He's not doing much right now other than a lot of muddled thinking, but it's a start. Gummi, feel free to jump right in and distract him before he gets to Roger's place and makes a mess, if you like.
Holy cow, 1,000 posts! And it only took me a year!
