Not only because he'd be away, but because he knew that if he wasn't there, that trouble would start up in the MFL. And with my turn in "The War of Paradigm City" ready to be posted (as soon as it's FRIGGIN OPENED!!! ~_~
I was ready to post be he closed it before I got back form homework!!
)...well...my turn will probably cause some arguing and in addition to that, if my turn works, I WIN, if it doesn't Big Finale will either win, or tie with me. (I'm piloting Big Venus, and he's Roger Smith in Big O)
Anyways, I really wish FP would make his post...I'm anxious to see what the hell all the comotion is about (

) and I also want to see if I can do anything with Dastun. (which probably ain't gonna happen)

Yeah, but the backups aren't closed, and it's your turn there. I edited that post as well, so take it how you like.
As for the FP post, I'm just as curious.
EDIT: AHHHHHH!!!!!! *starts banging head on wall* FP is back, time to open things back up!!! I wanna see what I've been waiting for!!!

Hello, Hello, Hello!
Now people, don't you dare think I'm anywhere near willing to let this die, because I'm not!
I PMed Fallen Phoenix relatively recently, and this is a part of the response I got:
In all honesty, I've not had much time to work on it, between work and some soul-searching I've been consumed with the last month or so. I''ve already told pen that I'm really not sure when I can get a post up, and I'd be fine if the storyline continues. If you want, since I honestly don't know when I'll be able to post again, I could entrust both Seebach and Norman to someone else for the time being (of course, I'd inform said person of what I intend both to do in the near-future, and when I can ensure that I have the time (and will, since recently I've lacked the desire to do much, somewhat related to the soul-searching aspect of my behavior over the last couple weeks) to devote to the RPG again, I'll simply retake the reins of either (or both) characters.
Personally, I'm a little unsure on the idea myself, but, naturally, this is a democracy, and furthermore, this roleplay belongs to EVERYONE participating in it, not just me.
So, what do you all think? I'm doubtless that there isn't a soul involved who DOESN'T want the thread unlocked, and this might just be the solution.

Sounds like a good idea to me, someone else takes the reins and lets FP do all the soul-searching he wants! I vote yes!

It all depends on what everyone else thinks. I personally want to see the thread unlocked...it has been quite a while now and I really and eager work with everyone again. However if everyone decides it's better to keep it closed till Fallen Phoenix can return I'd be fine with that too.
I'm all right with reopening the thread. Norman and Seebach weren't that involved yet anyway, so it's just a matter of inserting a few "filler episodes" or a mini-storyline before we start the next big arc.

I'm ready with Dastun for any mini episodes (possibly some interesting stories unearthed about Sybil Rowan and/or Alan Gabriel dug up during the records serach) ((
wouldn't that be interesting? Finding our bits an pieces about Sybil+Dan's past and possibly any connections to the Union???)). FP's a great RPer, but we can't wait any longer for his freakin post or we'll lose our original train of thought.
I say open up that thread and let's get into some smaller more tantalyzing memory crap and leave the big plot change till later.

What if Fallen Phoenix handed over some notes to me and let me do something with it? I'd much rather he do it, or what if Big F did it? Or pen? Frankly I'm looking forward to a chance to do some creative writing again myself, but BF or pen either one are terrific writers. Or Tifaria, she's really good? I do think the Seebach, or Norman/Gordon posts should come first.
What about it?
Oh bother... I need to see about getting a reduced award banner hosted somewhere. This thing is downright gaudy and arrogant.

Well, all right, if we want to continue, I'll unlock it. I just need to take time to read over what happened becuase I think I might be up to play.
I think I can handle whatever FP wanted to do that dealt specifically with my characters (Amelia and Dorothy) and maybe the rest of you guys want to do the same? (FP, we need to chat if you see this!).
All righty, the thread will be reopened.
Later,
Pen1300
EDIT: BTW: have any of you taken a look at NANoWriMo in the Speakeasy? I have plan to do it unoffically, but I was curious as to what the rest of you thought of this.

Ooh.. I'm so indecisive about these kinds of things. I'll just go along with whatever you all decide. Might take me a while to get back into it, though.. I haven't written anything in a while.
About NaNoWriMo: I thought about doing it, but I know I don't work well when I have to force myself to do something. On the other hand, it would be a great way for me to try and work on some fic ideas I had.. but I'm still kind of stressing about Roger-off entries right now, so I haven't had much time to think about it. Maybe after the Roger-off (assuming I even finish entries in time), though. We'll see.

I was thinking we could maybe do a Beck-venture sort of thing; draw him back in and reveal a little more of his past, especially just what kind of history he has with Emilia. I've been curious about that for quite a long time (and why he has yet to recognize her.)
Anyway, after Amelia, Big Duo, and Freddy get their butts gone from the Paradigm research labs, anything we can all compromise on is quite cool with me, although I'm hoping we'll see more of Dorothy. And Roger. Roger and Dorothy. *hint hint nudge nudge wink wink say no more*
(Oh, geez! I just realized something! I'm playing the major plot point villians, so I can't particpate in some fun off-topic jaunt into character building... *sigh*)
As long as Alan can (not so) ambiguously flirt with people, I'm down with everything! :B

Me and Snakemarcato have got something planned for Snake and Rampage, details about their past and how it connects the two together. I don't want to spoil it but do expect a badass fight scene.

Xel---
What's really going to be funny is how Alan decides to interept "have the day off" as meaning.
I imagine Alex won't be seeing Alan for a long, long time. After all, he's got things to do and people to toy with.
Darkside---
A fight scene between our two resident superhumans? Sounds epic.

What he said. And I'm looking forward to Alan Gabriel played by the right player.
And I'm sure pen can come up with something cool for Dorothy to make Roger's head spin. This should be a fun weekend!

I'm with you. I have to read a couple pages back, so for right now, I'll just do what evan's doing.
I ran an idea by Snake, but he hasn't been on for a while, so I dunno.

Er....I haven't sent it yet. Like I said, Thursday night should be the earliest you get it, or I might just p.m. it to you. I can't remember any of it, and the file I have it on is on the computer at my mother's house.

I'll send it to you ASAP.
