May I ask where the heck is Beck!? O_o

I might have missed something in the last couple of pages...the posts are geting a bit confusing x_x;;

Anyways, I'm gonna write up (hopefully) Dastun's turn tonight...and god help me if this doesn't turn out right Sweatdrop
Tifaria 09-27-2004 09:50 PM
Beck is.. somewhere. I don't know, I haven't needed to write anything for him yet. Roger shoved a can of gasoline into Beck's hands and pretty much told him "scram" after the fight with Vera. Big Grin He'll be back, though! Gummi's got something up her sleeve for Beck and Emilia. Tongue
stryker 09-27-2004 10:01 PM
Augh! I hope, I reaaaaly hope that I can do a quick play by play to clear up just what the heck I did! I'm so lost myself... but bear with me. My posts are pretty much out of order because like an idiot I jumped the gun. Big Grin

First, there's a post titled Under construction, and this little bit should go there.
IGNORE the posts at the Speakeasy, these actually come later. Tongue

Soul searching by two lonely hearts goes above.
Roger left the Townsend's manor and took Angel home with him, this is the big long introspective thing that took up two posts, where Roger took her upstairs like a clod and gave her a room in the penthouse.

The weary Negotiator
NOW, Roger goes to the Speakeasy to speak with Snake Mercato, and sees Julia, gets told Julia is spending the day at the mansion.

SKIP PAST the two big long posts to The weary Negotiator, seeking rest or whatever it is, with Roger saying goodby to Snake, and sees Rampage as he leaves. Now he goes home and is about to collapse.

I hope that this makes sense to you guys... *whew*

Ooh, and yes, I'm looking forward to Emilia giving Beck fits! Big Grin

^.^ Yes I do! I'm assuming Beck is just going to revert back to his old ways...so I'm going to base their encounter on where I think he might be, I'll discuss it with Tifaria via PM when I'm ready to do the scene. But I'm going to try and focus on the "Dinner Scene" with Emilia and her father...which I'm going to write sometime today...Robert's ready to make a revelation to Emilia.
Tifaria 09-28-2004 08:59 AM
O_O Oh, Gummi, that was brilliant! I have to admit, the thought of Linette and Vera being related didn't even occur to me (although I guess it should have-- all those Union members living out there isolated for so long would surely yield plenty of the current agents who are brothers/sisters/aunts/uncles etc). Once Angel hears about this, she will have a fit. Wink And, oh my gosh, I just realized: If Vera was the one "playing" Angel's mother (although Angel doesn't realize that yet, and probably won't for some time..), and Emilia is her niece.. then that sort of makes Emilia and Angel cousins, doesn't it? Big Grin

Yay! It does! ^.^ There is a saying in spanish " La sangre llama." "the blood calls".I thought it was a pretty nice tie in to Emilia and Angel's connection to each other, plus it's sort of cute despite the sisters hating eachother their daughters being friends and feeling the need to protect eachother...but I don't think thats the only surprise wait till I get to the part explaining why Vera really hated her sister so much...I'm saving that for later. Yeah, gee, that was an awesome post Gummi! The things you people think of! Being Angel's cousin is a great idea, and explains your affinity for each other perfectly. These should be awesome days to come for the RP.

It's kind of funny. I get to play Roger, and experience the rollercoaster of everyone's revelations. Big Grin
evanASF27 09-28-2004 09:18 PM
Right someone PLEASE tell me that THAT post is acceptable!! O_o;;;

...and btw, it ended at about current time in the RPG so Roger should be getting home pretty soon. It probably won't do any good cos Roger's had it for the day, but hey it gives something dastun to do while he's waiting for any progress from his team in the records room.
Tifaria 09-28-2004 09:23 PM
That was most excellent, evan! I daresay it was your best post yet. Big Grin Keep it up! I look forward to seeing what happens with Dastun and his men.
stryker 09-28-2004 09:25 PM
Yeah, that was really good Evan! I probly should wait until pen says something, because Roger might be walking right into a confrontation with Dorothy. Big Grin

But after that, or to get away from it, or when I know pen's intentions, I'll sure talk to Dastun. Do you want me to PM or IM you about the conversation, because these collaborations have created some fantastic dialog.

Sure man we can talk bout it. But not tonight, and probably not tomorrow...or even after that ._.;; Today was very lax on homework, but I'm not positive that the rest of the week will be the same. Better wait till the weekend to plan this out, okay?Dead
stryker 09-28-2004 09:34 PM
Awrightie. I'll sure be around dude, good luck with the homework.
pen1300 09-28-2004 09:50 PM
OK! It's posted! YAY FOR ME! Though, Dorothy seems slightly out of character for this...I don't know...I just wanted to make sure I posted. I said I'd have it.

Stryker, we'll have to meet up (on IM, I'll get to that later, or PM), and have a dialoge (Don't borrow Dorothy yet, I have a few ideas for some of the things she should say!)

FP, I'm sorry if I screwed up more of you post, I tried to be general...

Yeah...wow. I really haven't written for a while...I hope that's ok. Now I'm worried about how OUT of character that is for Dorothy...OOooooOH MAAaaAANNn....

Evan, good job. Everyone else, GOOD JOB!

AAAAAH! Oh, Pen! I've got knots in my stomach now! Angel's in for a rude awakening after her nap.. oh my. I feel bad for Dorothy now.. but Angel's not going down without a fight! Although I'll try and keep her calm and rational about it. Big Grin And I'll wait to post for a while, I think.. no reason for Angel to wake up juuust yet.

In other words: Beautiful post, particularly that part about androids weeping. I really felt for Dorothy while reading it! Poor girl.. I can just imagine what it must have been like to see Roger leading Angel into the house.. eeeek. Oh man, I feel so conflicted: I love both the girls! Why can't there be two Rogers?! Someone build an R. Roger Smith, now! I demand it!

Oh well. I don't suppose there's any way I can bribe you to have Dorothy run off and join clown school so Angel can have Roger? No? Well, a girl can dream. Big Grin
evanASF27 09-28-2004 10:17 PM
well done Pen! Big Grin Well done!! ^_^

...yes a tad out of character as you had said, but still wonderful! ^^

HA! No way, sistah! *snaps fingers* Dorothy will have Roger!

But still, I agree, why can't there be two Rogers (but I'm sure there's another guy out there for Angel!). I'm still a supporter of the Dorothy and Roger hook up. (You realize, you're for Roger and Angel and I'm for Roger and Dorothy? That's sooooo cool and helps add to the mix!)

I'm glad you liked it! I was so worried that you guys would find it so out of character for her.

Oh well, I need sleep, tomorrow is "normal" class day...

*sings*"I'm so happy! Oh so happy!"

DUDE! I wanted that EARLIER (because it was up for a short time and I saw it!).

Um...I think it might be a good idea to wait on that post, because I'm not sure, but I think Roger and Dorothy might actually want to talk. PLEASE SAVE IT though! I'm going to want that to come up after Roger finally drifts to sleep!

...believe me, my post can't get any more screwed up than it already is, and that's intentional. Tongue It's fine: I've decided to restart the post from the ground up, though I'm keeping the basic framework intact. This is actually good, as it will allow me to save some elements (such as some of Norman's post-Event memories) for a later post...

By the way, excellent job with your post! Big Grin
