Yeah, maybe if you could give us sort of a pinpoint timeline wise in the anime.

From what I understood, this whole thing was set before "Stripes", but.. I don't know for sure.

To (sort of) repeat myself for a third time, the Big-Oh RPG is alternate events just before and after Stripes (hence the fact that I introduced Vera as having just came to Paradigm).

I posed a most excellent scene that Tifaria sent me to collaborate with, which I simply added a little bit to. I'm afraid I fell asleep looking at it. I need to just go to bed when the clock tells me to.

Stryker, that was brilliant! The parts you added really help it flow a lot better (especially some of Roger's dialogue-- I have such trouble writing words for him that don't sound like something he'd never say), and I especially love the part with Beck. Your way with words astounds me again.

Uhh... I really think it would be a good idea. You want to yack about alternatives here or in PM? I could work with you on it. I think those Union spies might be a part of a larger plan that might be important, or it might be that Big F would prefer that you solve it in a less "Lupin" manner. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Oh, and the rest of us are going to be doing some wound licking and soul searching for a while, so, by all means, let's see some Seebach and Norman! Alex and Amilia!

Actually, I just got a really strange idea that would completely mess with everything everyone has ever been told about the Big O: Namely, that all the people Roger helped throughout the series (Oliver, Instro, Bonnie Fraser, etc.) were all connected to the Union someway. THAT would turn everything on it's ear, but it'd throw things way too far out of whack... maybe I can try that as a short story.

Okay, so skip that. Funny, I didn't notice any spot in Tifaria's post that didn't look like one of hers (beside the fact that you posted it...) What did you add? (maybe I'm just blind.)

Stryker edited what I'd already written of Roger's dialogue and added some more, as well as Roger's internal thoughts-- really, that was for the best, as I'm terrible at writing Roger, whether he's speaking or thinking. He also added the scene with Beck, and some snippets of dialogue for Emilia and Snake.

Big F, that sounds like.. a neat idea. It'd cause quite a bit of chaos, though, but then, this thing is all about chaos.

I also vote for a little slowing down of Dastun's actions. I like where you're going with it, Evan, but give it some time to develop, so you can build up some nice old fashioned anxiety/anticipation. )

....uhh....for one it's not very Lupinish at all If anything it's like the three stooges. (Getting a man to run past, while two of them hit the guy over the head with [insert object])

The thing is, Dastun is always the last character in any fanfic, RPG, and even the show that you'd think would have an "important" role. I thought I could change that by making him slightly different than the way he is 99% of the time portrayed. Spending all his time at the Military Police HQ would do nothing for him...

Tifaria...build what anxiety? We've got anxiety and suspense left right up and down here, with Seebach and Norman, Vera and Snake, Alan and Angel...with all due respect, where the heck would Dastun fit in with it? Any suggestions would really be appreciated. I don't see really any other way for him to get "involved" in the plot. I was thinking of getting dastun to interact with Seebach, for something interesting to say the least...but FP already took dibs with his Norman+Seebach thing (whatever the hell it is). Dastun can't really do anything with Roger now because 1) the fight's over, 2) the main focus is on Snake, Alan, and Vera now, and 3) Dastun STILL has to do something with the Union spies in the Military Police...I mean he CAN'T just let that go.

I think it's just that Tifaria and I harmonize so well.

Evan, I'll be on AIM pretty much all day except for a supper run. I'm home from work early today. AUGH, which I really need, I'm exhausted!

Oh, and there is a disadvantage to playing certain people, in that you might just have to twiddle your thumbs and think about things or just enjoy the RP for a while. I even sat on my hands watching the plot build for a few days in that confrontation, since I didn't want to interrupt. And by staying out, the tension that created between Angel, Beck, Alan and Vera was extreme! It was hard not to roar in and rescue Angel earlier, but it was worth it as the RP benefitted a lot from staying out for a while.

Er, well, Evan.. I have no idea what I meant. At 8 am this morning, it made perfect sense, but forget it. I don't even know what's going on with my own characters, much less anyone else's.

Stryker, I really don't think there are any edits necessary! I absolutely love everything you wrote (as usual), especially Roger's struggle with what he feels for Angel, and the parts you wrote for Angel are probably either exactly what I would've thought of, or better. Oh man, it's going to be hard when Roger has to break poor Angel's heart.


Why yes, I am a closet Angel/Roger fan, if you couldn't tell already. Shh, don't tell mom! And please don't lynch me. Much.

Well good news for y'all...I deleted my post (well, the stuff in it) from the RPG thread and I'm gonna make up something new. (which will involve Dastun and Roger...thanks to stryker fer the idea)

It's gonna take a while to write up, not cos it's long but cos it's a complicated series of steps...I don't think you guys will mind it.

Wait I changed my mind! Just kidding, I'm such a stinker.

Well...it depends on who you want to hear from on Saturday. (JA, thank you! I now have something for my post with Dorothy. ) So, I can do Dorothy today if you guys are interested (just was waiting for FP because of the order of events the posts will go...).

I was going to do Amelia, but as I typed up her post, I remembered I have a post I typed up a while ago (I think) on disk, but that disk is not with me...>.< (I know EXACTLY WHERE IT IS THOUGH!!! )

So, if you guys can wait until tomorrow evening, I should have a post ready then...

As I was rereading the last few posts in this thread I realized both of my posts will have to come tomorrow (quite possibly-BUMMER). Well, well...I'll just have to make sure I do all of my school work in the down time and keep up with it so I can post! CAN'T WAIT!!!
