Okay, you asked for it. It is by far one of my worst posts, but behold: The most freaky character in Big O now nearly has his hands on the most imposing megadeus in Big O. |
To quote Bender from "Futurama": We're boned!
This oughta be interesting.

Especially once the Amelia/Alex/Big Duo storyline gets its turn in the spotlight.

Ok, Big Finale I fixed my character. You'll have to check my original character post to see.
*blinkblink... blink*
That's not... Venus, is it?
Hoooo boy. XD
So, do we just cut it off there with a sort of "dun dun DUUUUN" thing and let everyone switch their scenes, or...?

Nope, it ain't Venus.
Tis' the Behemoth, suckers!
And yeah, I think we should just cut it off there and let Pen and FP FINALLY post. Unless you want to add something...

And that's totally fine with me.

Well, I did another backtrack post, but hopefully setting up tomorrow's RP. I'm really looking forward to what's coming up in the coming days!

I wish it could've been avoided (you can tell I'm REALLY not used to powerplaying in the slightest ^^), but there was no other way I could get you out from between Alan and Angel, which is very very important for closing this little story arc. Don't worry, it's hardly fatal-- just enough to incapacitate him for the time being. You get to decide where exactly you were shot, too.

Thanks, you just saved me some work. I was going to incapacitate Snake myself, but now I don't have to!

I neglected to say how much I enjoyed the wrap up of this act of the RP, and how much I look forward to the acts to come! This has actually just been warming up!
Oh, and I knew it was Behemoth. I have all 26 eps on DVD

I just thought of something: This RP needs more Gordon. Because Gordon is the MAN.

Pardon me Big Finale...but after this was over weren't we going to let FP post his little whateverhe'sgot?
I'm worried that the "discovery" of Behemoth thing will take over the plot next and we won't be able to get Seebach, Norman, and Dastun (!!!) involved until much later after THAT has finished.
(I'm just showin my concern)

Reading my post more carefully should've countermanded the need to show any concerns; Agent 97 said that the Behemoth wouldn't be operational for a good three weeks of game time, and a single day by number of posts is over a hundred judging by how it's been going so far.
Plus there's the fact that since they don't have it operational or completely excavated, they don't know how it works, and the fact that Dastun is gunning for the Union members he can get at.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Actually, that confused and upset me a great deal. How the HECK did Dastun get his hands on that list? You didn't explain that at all. Why would the list of Union members be in the Military Police HQ? And how did Dastun know that it
A. Existed
B. And was refering to the terrorists he was after?
Because I don't remember having Vera mention the name of the Union in her fight with Dan.

Well... she did sort of show Dastun that the Union had infiltrated the Military Police when some of the MPs turned on his own people, and I furthered that impression when I RPed Dan grumbling to himself right after my first post about how these "outsiders had infiltrated the very Military police! A security breach of this kind is unacceptable!" or something like that. The last thing he said was that he'd have a shakeup at the MP HQ.
I do think what Evan RPed was... uh... out of character with what I think Dan would do. I don't see him as a ruthless man at all like that. I think Dan might mistrust everyone up to the General, and rally around him his most trusted troops, but after that, would require some RPing to see how the other MPs portray the nature of this infiltration. Maybe this could be massaged a bit into something more like Konaka would do.
For the most part, I think the RP has been done beautifully and I'm looking forward to getting back into it today.

Well I was taking some knowledge from Hydra there.

That still doesn't explain how Dastun knew it existed.
It's not like this RP is taking place after Hydra...
EDIT: Oh, yes, almost forgot.
On the matter of Darkside joining our "illustrious" little group, I suggest we do this the old fashioned democratic way and put it to a vote.

Well, after reading Darkside's character profile, I have to say, I get the impression that he's a little similar to Snake in behavior.. and that could potentially be interesting. Seeing as how Darkside's character would be working for the Union, he and Snake would be sure to clash at some point in the future (and we know how much Snake hates the Union..). Then again, if he's too similar to Snake in behavior, that could be a little redundant.
I'm okay with him joining as long as he keeps his character under control, so.. yeah.

Uhm... what she said.
I was thinking of at some point bringing in Stryker as a character, but I'm still debating this. It depends on how many people would suit the RP.
Oh, and as for Gordon Rosewater, I could handle him unless Phoenix or someone wanted to play him. I can probably handle any "clean up" characters that are needed on the spot if you want someone other than yourselves to play them. You know, Alex goes to see his dad and Big F handles both roles and all that.
I'm for it. We just have to keep an eye on the situation to see that it doesn't go all... Idon'tknowwhat on us. :B

What's this I hear about another character like me? Is that really a good Idea? (probably. might make some fun...)

Hey, why not get a preliminary intro out of the way, just in case?
Name: Stryker, Stephen Stryker
Age: late 30s
Height: 6'1"
Weight: 190 lbs
Appearence: British, medium complexion. Dark brown-black hair, hazel eyes. Fairly strong, but relying on cunning and stealth more than strength. Think a cross between Sean Connery and a dash of Kevin Kline.
Backstory: Stryker is a member of the Union, Agent 219? He's a subversive agent specializing in infiltration, robbery and spying, and has a few tools to assist in carrying out such duties. Trained in martial arts, he can handle himself well in a fight, and is a crack shot. An altruistic, idealistic fellow, he bought into the Union's rhetoric about the ruthless tyrrany of Paradigm City, and specifically of Alex Rosewater. And it was easy enough to believe, as his fellow Union members were unceremoniously hounded out of the city. He's currently playing a sleeper role, inhabiting an abandoned, rundown Church in one of the Illegal Residence sectors, waiting for orders when he's not helping out with the Union's latest find.
Personality: Stryker is a fairly easy going chap, and rather cheerful away from his Union charges, who seem to put him increasingly in a bad mood, especially as he begins to see that the Union's propoganda might not be all that true. However he isn't above a bit of larceny, depending on the circumstances, and he tends to vengeance himself. He's fascinated by the mysteries of the city and is hunting for Memories himself, wanting to know what the truth of it all is, and having a feeling in his gut that it really is in the core of the City, something no one knew about yet. He enjoys a good drink and is a bit of a flirt, but he tends to spend as much time with books as women and bars. He is a bit proud, and is also a smart alec, cracking jokes even when he's in difficult circumstances.
I see Stryker as filling in a bit of Angel's old role, and being a foil for Roger. Showing up on occasion in the RP, perhaps where Alan Gabriel wouldn't do. Like when people should live, mass destruction not follow...
