*ees!* Yes, I set up Angel with a perfect scene! I'm really looking forward to it. I know Vera and Alan should get away pretty much cleanly, but that doesn't mean without some bruises.

And thanks for the good word, much appreciated.
I included about everyone in this, but I wanted this to be Alan-centric and also have everyone respond to it. Whenever Alan enters an area, everyone should go, "Oh crap, it's
him!"
A note: I decided to have Alan call Big O a
megadeuce, as in my fic, that mispronunciation is what the common popular term for them is, but that can be edited as well.
Also, Snake, I had your character experience some pain, as that's a good idea. Not only because you're not a robot and still have a mostly human body, but because like I posted, pain is what lets you know your body is injured and keeps you from injuring it further. And it gives a powerful character some small vulnerability, hint.

Try not to play Snake as too strong, or the RP balance will be thrown off, like you'll have to face Terminator droids all the time, or troops of people armed with anti-tank rockets.
*squeals like a girl!* I COMPLETELY FORGOT JULIA!! Oh crud... uhm... okay, I'll squeeze in a sentence...

Okay, a brief entry or two for Julia's character, and I changed my mind about Alan calling Big O a "megadeuce." He'd been with Alex Rosewater, and he'd called it its proper term. I doubt Alan would still call it the colloquial term.

I try not to. I had this problem once before in an RP situation. I fixed it after a while. I was actually considering taking more damage when I was posting the beginning of my fight with Vera. Big F actually did less damage than I wanted, but I didn't say anything.
EDIT: There, I took care of the lack of damage. That's the amount of damage I expected.

Hmm. That last post kind of throws a kink into the one I was writing..

Ah well. It'll just take me longer to finish, I guess.
Big F, how much longer are you planning for Vera to stick around before she makes her grand escape? Just so I have kind of a vague idea how to end my post.

Sorry about that, Tif. I couldn't make Snake invincible, and I wanted to make it so that it would take some effort to get up.

Aw, don't worry about it. I'll just have to backtrack a little at the beginning. ^__^

Yeah, it's still set for a dandy confrontation between Angel and Vera, or whoever. And that was a cool post Snake.

Okay! My post might seem a little disjointed.. but I tried to work in everything from the last few posts, albeit a bit briefly. I hope I got everything in the right order.
Aaand, I hope I'm not dragging things out too long, but it seemed only proper to end where I did.. Alan and Angel haven't really gone at each other yet, so this ought to be interesting.. and it allows for Roger and Vera to confront each other a little more.
Let me know if anything's weird, or if it needs some editing-- I admittedly wrote most of it while still half-asleep last night and this morning, so parts of it might feel a little weird.. but I read it over quite a bit, so.. well, whatever. Just let me know.

Okay, sorry for not responding sooner, Tifaria.
Actually, I was planning for her to leave really soon. Vera's got some stuff to do, including seeing the Union's big find, which is inevitably going to cause some trouble for Roger's megadeus...

Hey, that's no fair!
Actually working more into the intrigues will be fantastic. I know you, Fallen Phoenix and pen1300 have some eye-opening surprises in store for us! Woo-hah!
* * * * * * *
Woo-hah indeed! That was an awesome post of your own Tif! Not disjointed at all. Augh... I want Big Finale to show off his mad writing skills here. I might post a little something, but I'd like Big F to have the stage him/herself. Oh, and Xel promised to post something too! Oh
Xe--ell!!
And, well... I added a post that ended up being a virtual repeat of Tifaria's, but it covered Roger's part and set up Vera nicey, I hope.

Beautiful post there, Stryker! You have a knack for backtracking and making everything fit together very neatly. And I love Alan's dialogue, particularly:
| quote: |
| Alan looked back at him in annoyance. "Oh, give it a rest, please! This hero act of yours is simply pathetic now. You couldn't stop a little girl." |
For some reason, that cracked me up. XD I think it's from imagining Alan's creepy voice sounding exasperated.

*laughs* Why thank you, m'lady, but you set it up for me beautifully. It is a lot of fun coming up with snotty remarks for Alan to say to us.
But let me add that your own backtracking was admirably put. I really like your style.
Now, for Big F and hopefully Xel to follow along, and give us a dramatic climax. I see you lurking, Xel... postie, pweease?
* * * * * * *
I need to stop falling asleep in front of the computer.

But as long as I'm here...
Man, Big Finale, mean, awesome post. This RP is meshing together just beautifully. I can't see how it could be better. The future looks to be full of dark conspiracies and lots of troubles for everyone. Which means good times!

Just like to note that I made a little correction to my post, to make it more apparent that either Angel or Beck had fired one of their weapons.
And Snake... that move really kind of interferes with what I was trying to set up, especially since I want to end this with my next post.

I'm sorry. Why do I always mess things up? I do have an idea to end this, if you would like...
| The Big Finale |
09-20-2004 10:03 AM |
Well, the next move really belongs to either Tifaria or Xel.Tifaria because most likely either Angel or Beck fired a gun, or Xel because Alan was the one who was probably shot at.
I would like to hear your idea, though.
| Tifaria |
09-20-2004 10:09 AM |
Well, Beck ran off (the yellow-clad chicken!), so it'd have to be Angel who fired. I was planning on letting Xel have the last post, though, provided she's feeling better. She hasn't really gotten to post for Alan much during this conflict, so I thought it'd be nice to let her have the spotlight, if she wants it.

Geez, I wonder where he went. He didn't hijack their hijacked car, so he must've just run off...
And yes, I really think Xel should have the last post in this battle as well.
