Feh.. just because Vera lost her whip doesn't mean she doesn't have other weapons...

Anyway, I suppose the spotlight is really on Xel's next move, isn't it?

*laughs!* I'm sure Vera is a weapon. I have little doubt that she has at least one pistol and knife, garrote, brass knuckles, mortar, who knows what all? And that whip is in the shallows not far away.

I know. I keep thinking that this is so much like watching the show, as I imagine every aspect of the scene in cinematic glory, accompanied by that marvelous soundtrack we know and love.

As I wrote my post, I think there were 3 others ahead of me which I incorporated, so it's a little long, a little flashbackie, but I couldn't think of how to whittle it down. And I stole some of your guys lines in it, hope you don't mind, but I'm really late for bed, and am drooling toothpaste.

That was an awesome way of working it all together, stryker. It seemed disjointed (and it was) when everyone posted their stuff, but you really tied it all up into one neat package! Nice, nice work.

I agree, Stryker has a talented for making everything fall into place! ^.^

I have to agree also. Stryker, your post tied everything together beautifully! I'm getting so anxious from everything that's going on now-- there's so much tension and drama and conflict and Angel/Roger angst! I love it! I can't wait to see what happens next.

Thanks everyone, you really know how to make a guy feel welcome. This is turning into quite a home for me, seriously. But I have to remind you that I love how everyone is contributing to this. The reason it's such an outstanding RP is how everyone added their part to it, and I'm learning even more how to write from what you add to the work.

I'm not sure I should have posted anything, tho I did. I keep thinking that we're practically writing Beck and Alan Gabriel out of the picture, and I REALLY want to see a post from Xel! We've been dancing around them for a few days now.

If he can't post anything soon, could one of you work on a post with him? Either Tif or Big F can do marvelous Alans. Oh, and of course I'm not telling Snake or Julia what to do. That's just what Roger would say. Just keep in mind that Vera and Alan should get away, so they can be free to make naughty at us again soon.

Okay, I'd better just hush up and hit post. Gah, I even edit the heck out of my chat posts! But hey, it's late, and my brain is in drool mode.

As soon as Vera and Alan get away, I think there'll probably be a brief pause while everyone regroups (and Angel and Emilia get those wounds treated), and then Alex will probably come further into the picture.

Sounds like a good plan...I'll post Seebach and Norman's segments during the pause, this way they don't detract from the current action...the posts should make for an acceptable interlude, I hope.

Done! My character being very gentle and stuff normally followed orders...but I didn't realize Snake was posting something at the same time. So...mine's a little weird. Oh well. But great job! I just got done with my latest post (longer than normal, and she just found out she was also supposed to protect Beck...heh heh.)

Yeah, I feel kind of bad that we've all continued posting without allowing Xel to post yet (Xel's a she, by the way ^_^; ). If worse comes to worse, maybe one of us can talk with her either through PM or AIM or something and find out where she was planning on going with Alan? But.. and I don't want to sound bossy or anything, but I really, really don't want anyone to post for her unless it becomes absolutely necessary.

Juvenile Angel, I just want to say that I find myself liking Julia more with each post you write. She's a great foil to Snake, as she's very patient and stern, whereas Snake is a little.. well, I'm not trying to be mean, because I like Snake, but he tends to rush into things. They're a great pair, and I'm curious to find out their whole backstory eventually.

Anyway.. things ought to get interesting after Vera and Alan get away. Are we planning on having the storylines merge at some point? Because oh my gosh.. that would be awesome.

Yes, I'm think that eventually things will fall into place upon my return to the lab (Big Soh's hideout.).

^.^ I second that thought! That would be pretty spectacular considering the amount of connections that exist between all the characters. I also agree with what you said about Julia. She balances out Snakes character well.

*chuckles* Yeah, I agree, I don't want to yank the scene away from her. She's a very good Alan, and the way she writes her entries are fantastic. My suggestion is a last ditch deal to keep from simply moving past any chance of a dramatic confrontation between Alan and Beck.

But at the same time I don't want to sit at this point! I want to see how this RP progresses! What's coming up is going to undoubtedly going to be even bigger!

The storylines can merge as much as we want them to, because we're the writers of this epic. Magnificently managed and furthered by Big Finale, and who needs to get some kind of award for his terrific work on this monster.

Dudette! That would be awesome and as I've been reading these excellent posts, I have a few new plans up my sleeve . These thoughts (one of which is from the beginning), if it all works out and they are brought to the forefront, will certainly merge all the points together! I'll say no more though!

KEEP IT UP! I can't wait to see what happens next!

Big F mentioned how the posts I cribbed together in mine were disjointed, and I made everything all swell as I merged them in mine. I think he was simply being flattering, but I wanted to make sure I added something to the thought, because I think everyone's posts are just fantastic. I love how all you writer types see things from your own perspectives, write them in your own style, and add your own flavor to the RP. It's like a buffet, and it all adds together to make a magnificent feast. Again, I'm sure Big F wasn't disparaging anyone. I just wanted to use this as an excuse to gush at everyone again, and make sure you were all proud of what you were bringing to the party. And like I said before, this is like getting all new episodes to watch so I'm a big fan and all.

I'm giving some thought to what comes after all this... there's sure going to be a lot to RP out with our people. I REALLY hope tho that Xel gets her weekend in order so she can post something! This is as nervewracking as waiting for a Seebach post! But seriously, we've been writing around you and Beck for way too long, and I HAVE to know what happens!. In the words of Roger Smith, "It's Showtime!"

Oh, you tease! But I was just pondering what you were up to. This promises to be a terrific RP for weeks to come, and hopefully, months and years! Like a never ending story!

I'd like to apologize if I gave the impression of "You all suck; stryker rules".

What I meant to say was that, since everyone does have their own perception on what is happening, things do become disjointed as people continually post. It starts to become harder to figure out the chronological order of things (since people may not have a chance to post and had intended to do something earlier, as well as instances where people intended to do other things then one of the other roleplayers had written them in as doing.) What I meant to say was that after all that had happened, stryker mananged to put it together in a way that took everyone's posts and hooked them together in a way that made sense and didn't leave out a single thing, while still maintaining the unique flavor of each one.

If anyone understood all that, I feel sorry for you.

I hope Xel manages to make herself a postification soon; It'd be shame to leave Alan without anything good or interesting to do (as it happened in the earlier pages...)
