Still... when do my posts ever compare to yours, or stryker's, or pen's, or (well, nobody's compares to his) FP's? I mean, come on. I'm just the person with the few random ideas and average writing ability that... set it all up... in the first place... Okay, so I am important... |
Oh jeez...you forgot The Big Omega. He's done some kick@$$ posts in the first Big O RPG. I mean damn he was awesome.

Yah...uhh anyways....*walks away*

Sorry I haven't been able to post much. I don't have a computer in my dorm room yet and I'm not to big on sitting at a POD just for fun

. I'll try to get a computer during the Jewish holidays in 2 weeks, but until then you guys can take control of me like some crazy mind controling super villains...

Mwahaha, I laugh my evil laugh!
Waspy goes to the store front, looking over the women's clothes. "Hmm... do I look good in the pink dress, or the red one?"
*laughs!* I couldn't resist. Hey, good luck in school, and getting time to participate. It was fun watching you give Snake fits.
Now on a more serious note, this scene between Angel and Vera has
epic contest written all over it. I was thinking of lingering away from the fight for a while. Tifaria and Big F, are you thinking of what I'm thinking, or were you looking for Roger to come flying in with his cape flapping?

Hope to see you back soon, Wazpy!
I don't know about "epic contest", but I have been planning the "no longer a member of the Union" line ever since Emilia got kidnapped.
I guess it's Tifaria's descision, but from my point of view, it'd be nice to have the fight get around halfway before any of the others start barging in.

Not to push Tiff into anything, but that's just what I was thinking, and I'm sure it'll be epic. Oh Snake, get stuck in traffic or something. There's probly alot of traffic there from people going to work in a nearby dome. I'm toying with stuff like that. Let's give the drama some room to blow up real good.

It would be interesting to read. Angel vs. Vera match of wits...*dum dum dum*! Plus I hope it's soon so I can play Emilia, again. In the meantime, I'm cooling my heels here. The story is so entertaining! Bustems and Snake's interactions are so funny. I also hope you're able to come back soon Wazpy!^.^

Hey Gummi, go ahead and post something. Your "guardian Angel" has just shown up, go ahead and post some inner thoughts sometime today, unless you want to wait for something more dramatic. But with Vera pulling a whip on her, I'd be having some serious inner thoughts.

Don't worry, I don't exactly know where Roger went, I just know the vicinity. With my luck, another Megaduce will show up unexpectedly.

Okay! I posted a flashback sequence that should explore a little more about Emilia's mother.

No, no, that's perfect! While Angel would just love it if Roger came swooping in to save the day, she needs to realize that this is really
her fight, and she can't expect Roger to fight it for her.

Man oh man, is she going to get a butt kicking.
Gummi, I love the flashback! I'm curious as to what exactly Agent 276 did too... maybe Vera will blurt it out during the fight, eh?
Okay. I've got to run off to work in about five minutes, but I'll try and have a post up later this evening after I get home, hopefully around ten or eleven-ish central time.

So many great posts as of late! I myself am looking quite forward to the Vera-Angel confrontation...
I must say, I really must applaud Tifaria's excellent portrayal of Beck and Angel's interaction...she's done an excellent job up to this point, but I particularly liked how she managed it in her previous post.
...and I'll be sorely disappointed if anyone interrupts this showdown!

I think that this is going to be one of the big turning points in the RPG...it'll be interesting to see what direction it takes; everything is hanging on the conclusion of this encounter...

Well, there you go, stryker.
Snake-- Not a chance. No megadeus fight for you, not this round at least.
EDIT: I agree with you, FP; this is going to be one of the big plot points of the whole thing. And then there's going to be even more drama just a little while after... O'Reilly, Amelia, and Duo will start getting involved with the rest of the cast... that alone will set a LOT of stuff off.

What's probably interesting is that, up until now, some of the main players (Roger and Dorothy) haven't even gotten involved...it's been (relative) side characters who have been a part of all the action.
Saying there's going to be even more drama is a bit of an understatement, I think; in particular, once Roger gets involved, there's going to be an explosion of activity...
...hopefully, if I can play my hand right, Seebach should introduce a lot of confusion and some more plot twists of his own. In my next post(s) I'm endeavoring to tie Norman and Seebach together in an unlikely alliance which should have a lot of long-term implications.
These potential events are making this RPG that much more exciting.

Wow, Norman and Seebach working together. Never would've seen that coming.
I noticed the side-character thing too, a while back. What I find really interesting is that the majority of the last, what, 3 pages of posts so far have involved Angel in some way.
Blee! This REALLY picked up! @.o Um, um, bear with me, folks! I'm a little busy with school, but I'll try real hard to post sometime this weekend. And AHAHAHA THANK YOU, Tif and Finale, for allowing Alan to take *cough* care of Beck... *rubs hands together sinisterly*

Wow! Amelia is, I guess, just sitting on the sidelines right now! LOL. I am getting some ideas now thanks to all of you!
I won't post yet, I want to see where everything goes!
EDIT: BTW, school has been really demanding my attention! (YAY for college!) That now is the slowdown for me.
Later,

I was thinking about it too...I really didn't intend to have a real rivary going on with Vera when I first mentioned Emilia's mother but I LOVE the way things developed! I might need to discuss it with Big Finale, but I think I have a good idea how I want to portray how Vera and Agent 276 came to hate eachother.
I again have to congradulate everyone! The story we've developed is fantastic! I can't wait for your next post Tifaria! ^.^

Okay, this won't be a whiny "I suck" post. Not at all.
------------------------------------------------------
For the better writers among us, could you please go over my posts and look for things I can improve? I know I need to work on writing in character for both Alex and Vera (any tips would be appreciated), describing backgrounds, describing characters, that sort of thing.
Just any assistance towards improving my writing would be a Big Help...

Uhh... security issues?
Seriously, I read what you wrote before, and I was really happy with it. I'll go over things again, but... it's pretty darn impressive. Alex and Vera are excellently represented in your posts. I've actually been studying what you, Tiff, pen and the others have been writing. But I'll give it a go and see if I can think of anything. I bet tho that I just decide that there are style differences among us. Are you wanting more prosaic ways of putting things or something? More length? I'm afraid that if FP is the queen of length, I have to be His Royal Majesty of Verbosity.
Oh, and I second what Gummi said. This is a lot like watching the third season in a way, except we're bringing it to life! I can hardly wait for what you guys do with this, and the many scenes and Acts to come! Love it, love it, love it!
Well poo, one more edit and then I'm done. The biggest teacher I had in learning to write was studying the writers who's styles I admired. Which should be no surprise that I fell in love with the wordy ones like Tolkien, CS Lewis, Ursula K LeGuin, Jerry Pournelle, Cordwainer Smith and people like that. I looked at how they set their stages, got into people's heads and the usual technical mechanics of writing. It's kind of an osmosis, which I really do. When I want to alter my style a bit, I reread one of those authors, those books I cherish.
