Haha! My fiendish plan has worked! I cleverly concocted a method of getting you to write Schwarzwald's information!...

....

Or maybe I just couldn't think of anything good to write... Sweatdrop

Stryker: That's always cool if you need a little more time. Hope to see you soon.

Texan Otaku: No trouble at all. Time to put another advertisement out.

I just wanted to inform you that i'm still reading!! I don't know why this is so tedious, but it is. You guys really need to write some fanfics if you haven't, this is quite entertaining. Oh well, time for beauty sleep, hopefully monday or tuesday I can officially join in.

And no Dan Dastun?! He's the life of the party! Wink

I know the feeling. I joined late too, so I had to read the whole thing. There's a really dull part somewhere in the middle where nothing really happens...

And as for Dastun. Can't you just leave it open and return when you can? He just had his big moment and he's not all that important right now. What we really need is Roger, Dorothy, and Norman... big part of the show missing there Wink
The Big Finale 08-02-2004 09:10 AM
Dastun can't be left out, mainly because he was started chasing Vera when she ran off to join Alan and it'd be troublesome to just say he vanished after that.

Fallen Phoenix is playing Norman, Skryker is reading to join as Roger, and Pen took Dorothy.
stryker 08-02-2004 10:25 AM
When I get caught up, maybe I could fill in with Dastun until we get a regular.

Oh! I'm sorry, snake! Oops...Embarrassed Sweatdrop Oaky, I guess I'm Julia. I don't look here that much and I've been busy...heh eh heh. I'll be a regular, don't worry. I just never had much to do in this forum. Alright, so I guess, I'm Julia. Oaky.

Edit: Bio...forgot:

Sure. Julia Marcato (Formerly Julia Sanada) was going to be married to Snake Marcato, but Snake was taken away by the government. She appears to be 21, However, she underwent the same process as Snake, becoming a "Schizo-fighter". The records show that she is dead, and that she died 40 years ago, but she did not. Like Snake, she does not age, and she looks like the flower maiden from Wolf's Rain, except that she wears black, normal clothes.

Edit2: If I do join-can someone tell me what the hell is going on?
Gummibear 08-03-2004 04:20 PM
Here you go Reki! Big Finale did a great job on the summaries of the characters. I highly recommend reading this if you have just joined.

Welcome back, Gummi!

And now, I will attempt to sum up all the important information by character for absolutely no reason. All of this is just my assumptions and interpretations on the current story; feel free to ignore it all.

Angel
Hard to say. She does know that Vera has arrived in Paradigm (likely due to the fact that Vera is the only one with enough authority to dispatch Gaspard). Beyond that, Angel remains a mystery.

Alan Gabriel
Who can tell?

Alex Rosewater
Alex knows just about everything that's going on. He has in his possession the papers of Michael Seebach, as well as the android R-D, fully repaired by Paradigm's scientists. He also knows that Amelia Seebach is able to communicate with megadei. Furthermore, it was at his word that the mysteriously resurrected Michael Seebach was assualted. He also recently discharged R. Frederick O'Reilly from the service of Paradigm and was reponsible for unleashing the (relatively weak) Archetype 2 upon Paradigm, just to test Roger. Furthermore, he has also offered Big Duo to Amelia Seebach freely, on the condition that she use him.

Amelia Seebach
The wife of Michael Seebach. In her past, her father was one of the men who maintained megadei; more specifically, Big Duo. She used to treat the silent voice she spoke with (Big Duo) as an imaginary friend. The Big Duo that was in her husband Michael's (Schwarzwald's) and now Alex's hands was the Big Duo from her past, the 'imaginary friend' she always spoke with. Another revalation revealed that she was Big Duo's Dominus.

Big Duo
Enough a character in his own right, Big Duo is the strong silent type.

Beck
Nothing. All he knows is that he doesn't like Alan, Snake, or Roger.

Emilia Townshend (Isalai Tsai)
Another tough one. She's the daughter of a Union agent, one that Vera apparently didn't like, and one of the richest men in Paradigm. She suffered a bad reaction to the sound of Vera humming the Union summoning song, and has memories from a long time ago.

R, Dorothy Wayneright
Another mysterious type. Dorothy, like Roger, has no idea the things that are going on in Paradigm, but did find Michael Seebach in the street, carrying him back to the Smith Mansion.

R. Frederick O'Reilly
The only android detective, Freddy was responsible for bringing Amelia Seebach to Paradigm Central as part of his investigation into Schwarzwald. He has an almost sympathetic outlook towards Amelia, but for the most part, has remained silent, excepting notifying Amelia about Big Duo reaching out to her.

Roland Bustems
A tubby cop. He knows who Beck is. That's about it for Roland.

Roger Smith
Somewhat of a mystery at this point besides the obvious. He knows nothing of the goings-on that have been happening (besides the fight with the Union's Gaspard and his brief but enlightning conversation with Snake Marcato), although that soon may change...

Snake Marcato
The "Mercenary of Hell", a mysterious man who lived outside of Paradigm. He has his own megadeus (Big Soh), which is centered around laser attacks. Snake's eyes are a bright, almost glowing red, as a result of experimentation on him many years ago.. His wife was also one of the research subjects, but she has gone missing. Snake, after trying to destroy the laboratory and scientists, was sealed away in cryogenic sleep. He knows that the people who were experimented on (refered to as 'Schizo-fighters') were endowed with superior abilities, including, in his case, a virtual immunity to the effects of achohol and an inherent skill in piloting megadei.

Vera Ronstadt
Vera is knowledgable about Snake Marcato; it's likely the experiments performed on him and the other test subjects were done by Union scientists stationed in Paradigm. She also seems to hate Emilia's mother (and, by association, Emilia) with a passion.

Other than that I must congradulate our new Roger. Fabulous entry! You have a talent for writing in character. I really enjoyed reading it! Stryker is a great Roger! Congrats!
stryker 08-03-2004 09:40 PM
You're too kind. I wanted to come in making an impression. I'll only be borrowing Norman and Dorothy if I need them to fill out an entry, and I'd be glad to tackle Dastun until we get a regular.

Sigh, tomorrow I'm going away for a bit, but I intend to keep writing and posting from a friend's PC. I really want to get back to that fic! It's almost unfolding for me the same way it is for you guys, if that makes sense. Wink

Don't worry...I can guarentee a Schwarzwald/Norman post Friday the latest (it's been a work in progress the last couple days, mostly brainstorming, but once I start writing it all flows out)...it should shed a lot of light on what's swimming around in Seebach's mind, including his obsession for the Truth.

---
Actually, the main delay this time is because I've had to alter the substance of what I was going to post due to Stryker's...though I really shouldn't complain because it was masterfly done. Big Grin It's no big deal...I just need to rework Norman a little (since I was initially going to have Norman hide Seebach from Roger...again, not really a major issue, I can work around it).
stryker 08-03-2004 10:28 PM
Woah, hold on. If you were going to explore something interesting in that, I can whack off half of my post and just have Roger come home, with the both of them looking sneaky, then I can post my reaction to any revelations later. If Norman was gonna keep it secret, that means some intriguing things. Tell me what you think. Maybe PM me or email me about it if you want to be conspiratorial, mwahaha. Big Grin

Nah, it's fine...again, I can work around it if needbe. Do expect a PM in your mailbox sometime tomorrow, though; I'll tell you what I was planning, and you can decide for yourself what to do with your post.

---
I suppose in the interim, it'd be best if no one posts direct reactions to his last post as of yet, as the situation surrounding Roger/Norman/Dorothy/Michael Seebach might change...
snakemarcato13 08-04-2004 10:03 AM
Hi Reki! So, we finally have a Roger? ( I haven't checked the other thread as of yet.) I hope the alliance between him and I will stay. A new Roger may cnhange things, but I don't want to judge too early.
Wazpy 08-04-2004 05:54 PM
Now, Snake, I know you're in a big rush to go off and play with Julia, but there have been some pretty big charges brought against you. With all you drank a cop would bust you, whether or not you feel drunk. With all the other stuff added on top, a police officer isn't just going to give you a slap on the wrist. Don't try to ignore him and hope he'll go away Wink

"Tailgating was bad. Drunk driving was worse. Having sunglasses on at night is inconsiderate and dangerous. Ignoring and being brief with a charming and handsome officer was a major offense! Then I find weapons built into your car! I don't care who you are or who this woman is, I've had it with you! Want me to read you your rights? Its probably the last time you'll have any, pal!"

This line is HILARIOUS! lol! Keep up the good work Wazpy! Laughing Laughing
stryker 08-09-2004 12:07 AM
I second that! Wazpy is such a riot, we should call the cops! Hmm... wait a minute... Big Grin

Phoenix, you grabbed my attention, and I'm waiting expectantly for some word from you. I know how it is, writing for Schwarzwald/Seebach was a huge challenge for me, and I LOVE what you've done so far!
stryker 08-10-2004 11:16 AM
Just a quick note to mention that I got my PM from Fallen Phoenix and changed my post accordingly. I do have a question. Does Roger Know Vera Ronstadt? I assume he knows Alan Gabriel, is that right?
The Big Finale 08-10-2004 04:16 PM
Nope, he doesn't. This worked out to be alternative events before and after Stripes, and he hasn't met Vera so far. But yes, he does know Alan.
snakemarcato13 08-11-2004 10:36 PM
I don't care how many things I can be busted for, I can pass any sobriety test, and.....ummmm.....about the guns......ummm.....yeah.
Wazpy 08-12-2004 06:09 AM
Snake, you know your hands are handcuffed behind your back, right? Pleased

Also, you keep trying to play it cool and I keep telling you, violence is the only way you can even start to get rid of me. Bustems is a big jerk and bent on capturing you.
Xel 08-12-2004 03:29 PM
*snicker* This is so amusing...
The Big Finale 08-12-2004 07:23 PM
Hmm... alright, I guess I'll just stick my big nose in...

Juvenile Angel and Snake, please edit your last posts to take into account what Wazpy's character did.

Wazpy, please edit your last post to allow Snake a chance to keep you from cuffing him.

A little controlling and pushy. maybe, but there we go. I hope that fixes any troubles.
