Username Changes

Huh? Wasn't it three months?

Hmm...I might actually think to change my name one of these days...

and as one old name comes back to life, another is switched out for something more comic.

Something tells me that by the 3rd month i'll hate myself for it (>x_X<) but I do think I should change my name...

All joking aside, it is interesting that evan finally decided to change his name...though it is not all that difficult to realize it is you, what with that rather large post count under your avatar. Though I must admit, I am a little curious as to the P.D.Q....I do not think it is a reference I am familiar with.

Nevertheless, the Beck part at least suits evan rather well, I think. It is a rather refreshing change, I suppose.

P.D.Q. BACH was a (fictional) 'son' of J.S. Bach...PDQ Bach's works like The Unbegun Symphony, Oedipus Tex, Toccata et Fuga Obnoxia, 1712 Overture, Minuet Militare, etc were all just a little bit (ok EXTREMELY) silly. Like combining "Pop Goes the Weasel" into the "1812 Oveture" tune I'm a fan of his music. So with all the crazy ideas for megadeuses I've been having lately (Big John, Big Rolf, Big Band, Big Mime, etc.), I thought P.D.Q. BECK would be a much more appropriate name

Here's an example which makes it a bit clearer (taken from the introduction to Concerto for Horn and Hardart)

You should post the Dude Love theme in response to everything.

And...Wienberg is Dude Love, so I really don't see much of a change. I mean, it's like using Sol instead of Sun, or FP instead of...well, FP: the two names are practically interchangable.
