Nein: You know, I never really have much to say about your avatars. After all, they are that damn good.

Clarity's great...not much to say there. Originality...again, just about everything that can be done has been done, though I must say I do like the boldness of this image. The black border seems kind of superfluous; doesn't really add anything, and taking it away doesn't really subtract anything. On the other hand, it doesn't subtract anything, and taking it away doesn't really add anything...it's just there.

Yeah, not really much more to say. I think it's an excellent avatar, even if it's not one of your better ones.

I try to use different grading systems, so it explains what they can Improve on

..dunno, just some androgynous character I happened upon. [Shrugs] Reminds me of a Final Fantasy Tactics character design..

Nein: I've seen a lot of good avatars from this guy. A lot of them. If you were wondering who created all our default avatars...that's the guy. If you spend the time looking over this thread, you'll see that many of the outstanding ones were done by him. If I really had to name the one forum member who creates the best avatars, it'd be Nein by a landslide (followed by Manji).

That said...I don't have anything negative to say about this avatar. I love it. The shading is unusual...and unusual means original. Even with the unusual shading (a style I happen to like), the avatar is crystal clear. Normally I dislike flat images...but this is a rare case in which it really works.

The pure white background, another feature I tend to dislike, also works wonders here; it seems to be a flash, one of those surreal backgrounds often employed during surreal sequences. The border does an excellent job of providing the necessary contrast which really fuels this aspect of the image.

I really don't have anything else to say...this avatar nears perfection. Might not be Nein's best avatar, but it's hard to produce quality avatar after quality avatar; he hasn't had a poor one yet.

Good Avatar! Is it John Ronald Reuel? Maybe you said so and I wasn't paying attention. Anyfoo, its a good picture, its very clear, and it looks minorly photoshopped, but maybe it isn't. I'm bad at that kind of thing.

Anyway, you get a 10/10...
