This is a pretty good avatar, all things considered. There's really not many negatives I can critique on...

I love the color; it's clearly the most outstanding aspect of the image (perhaps rivaled by the thick white border). I especially like the different shades around the collar. The colors are unique, and there are enough shades so that it doesn't get boring.

The image is very clear; no complaints about the quality of the avatar.

I think the thick white border is very suitable for the avatar; it provides for a very nice contrast, while doubling to increase the size of the avatar (the only real negative, which I'll be getting to next).

The only real issue with the avatar is the small size; this is probably more glaring to me since, admittedly, I have a bias against smaller avatars. Still, this isn't so much a deathblow as it is a scratch; the small size does take away from the avatar, but not so much as to completely destroy it.

While it would be preferrable if the size were increased, it does work fine as it is now.

Ultimately, the avatar has several strengths, but few weaknesses. Overall, it is an excellent one.
