Baroness: Give it a background other than white. It would make it easier to tell what it was. 8/10

Actually it's a scan from the Master Grade MS-06F2 Zaku II F2 instructions.
I don't have anything to make the quality any better, though, sadly.

But anyway, your good ol' Re-RZ avatar always looks good. 9/10.

Mistress samwise: I like the contrast in the picture. There's a nice balance of black and white. The only thing I would change is the text at the bottom; it is a little hard to read. A white or light gray drop shadow would make it stand out nicely. 8/10.

GK Version 1: Hmmm...an intriguing avatar, to say the least. I'll start with what I feel to be the negative aspects, then work my way to the positives.

First and foremost, it seems pretty plain...especially with the pure black background. The edges of the ring go off the avatar, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, just an observation...indeed, the black background is really the only significant flaw.

For the positives: the "shine" aspect brings the avatar to life, successfully mollifying the aforementioned plainess. It's also a very clear avatar, and as much as I detest boring backgrounds, I admit the color choice was a good one as it causes one's eye to focus on the symbol (and the shine).

Overall, I think it's a very worthy avatar.

Clarity: 10/10
Originality: 8/10
Color: 5/10
Emotion: 5/10
Personality: 8/10
Stature: 8/10

Technique: +0.5
Size: -0

Opinion (not objective): 7/10

Note on my rating system:

Clarity: Simply, how clear the avatar is. One of the most important categories.
Originality: How creative the avatar is. A simple screenshot? A more unique image? One of the forum defaults? Second most important category.
Color: How colorful is it? Is the avatar well saturated? Or, are the colors effective? If effective, even black and white avatars can score high!
Emotion: The least important category: is it an emotional avatar? Is it full of feeling? This is usually only applicable in regards to screencaps or landscapes: how well does it capture the emotion of the scene? Most avatars will only rate a 5 (average).
Stature: Put simply, how does the avatar look, regardless of the technical elements?

Technique: Like originaliy, what special "stuff" does the avatar contained? Bonus points for borders, image effects (such as animation),etc.
Size: Does the size work? If it's too big or too small, points can be deducted from the overall rating.

Opinion: My subjective opinion of the avatar, disregarding all "technical" aspects.
Overall Rating: My objective rating of the avatar (most meaningful number of them all), which is a compilation (not an average) of all the other elements aforementioned.
