Rate The Avatar

Hey I got this Canti From FLCL from www.adultswimunleashed.com

Reki, I really like that yours is a little off from the usual size of an avatar. The text is really nice and easy to read, too.


I spent a ridiculous amount of time on my new one, so comments/criticism are much appreciated. I'm just now learning how to put animation in an avatar, and I'm not sure if I like this one yet.

Zopwx2: Nice, it does look fairly clear though, if I were swiping it with a white glove I could still see a bit of under quality grain. The background matches the picture well, though its colors aren't very vivid. I'd say its a slightly above average 4/5.

Tifaria: It looks good, the animation style is very unique, in the sense that only a portion of the picture seems to be moving and the other half seems very highly saturated. I like the color scheme, mostly because I dont see it much around here. I'd say its a solid 4/5.

Wingnut: Eh? Its a roomba! No... thats not a vacumme cleaner... oh its that thing from MS Gundam right? Anyway, it does have its share of problems, despite its good natured intensions. The most of which is the lack of inspired color; Its very dull. The shape is a little funky, but I dont normally deduct points for that. I'd say its an average 3/5. On the other hand I think that Char one looks much better!

Minion: Hmm, well its obviously a zoid... a hippie zoid!? Nah, can't be... or can it? Right, anyway the picture has its share of grain and low quality uploading marks. The zoid is hard to make out, and the colors in the background dont help (though they do give you a good feeling of what its like to be drunk). I'd say its a below average 2/5, mostly because of the grain and upload quality, thats what really stands out.

By the way, when you post, you're supposed to rate other avatars, and explain what you think the user might do to improve the avatar, or at least tell them whats wrong with it.

Another great Manjinian avatar!

I like it a lot, the only problem is that the outline around him is a little cut off on the top and side. 9/10!

Temp avatar for me this week since my competition is saturday and I need something to motivate me while I am online! (P.S. It's me)

Zopwx2! 9.5/10! I love FLCL, and the image is centered pretty well. Nothing is cut off (besides his neck, which kind of has to be!).

Tifaria, I love you. I love that avatar more. I would give it a 10/10 (yeah, yeah, of course it’s Beck, which makes me give it a ten ). I can’t really do animating well, but the colors and the little eeny weeny animation in the background look really well done! -thumbs up- I lurve it! :3

I used to like zoids, Minion, especialy the Liger 0 and the Shadow Fox. I think the background is really neat lookin’! Although, you can’t really see the zoid that clearly. I’ll give you a 7/10!

I like the way you incorperated the scene R. Smith made of Beck getting snagged by Dorothy's headband like a boomerang or something.

FYI GAT's avatar is a painting of the Iowa class battleship, U.S.S. New Jersey.
ANd Manji's is well... a unique character that he made himself.

God forbid I ever try and explain any sort of positive motivation to any of you.

I am not a real fan of guys but a 8/10 because of the good pixels...

COULD USE MORE COLOR...

I am Roger Smith: *SOMEBODY CLAW MY EYES OUT*... I guess if I must... then I'll take one for the rest of Paradigm. First off, its got a lot of spare pixels, even with the black background. Its got miscoloration under his arm and on his knee, and the pictures black background doesn't seem to fit the rest of the picture well. The color isn't exactly boundry leaping either. I'll give it a 2/5... and now I shall beat the burned image out of retina, one moment please.

Minion: Cool effects, one of R.Smith's? It looks good, its a bit small but the grain is well hidden for a moving GIF. The only real thing I feel the need to pick at is the wee' lil' [Adult Swim] sign in the corner, it just stands out to me. I'd give it a 4/5, nice job!

Manji: Cute, and original. I like it, so your rating is a 10/10!
