this picture as the source.

Wingnut: Well, it's not a bad avatar...however, it is very grainy (especially around the figure) and somewhat blurry...however, I did notice that it was part of the original source...of course, you might have been able to get rid of it or at least fix it up, but it's viewable the way it is.
So, it could be better, but it isn't bad. I'll give it a 7.5/10 (75/100).
---
Yes, I realize my avatar is a little grainy...I'm going to get to work fixing it up later tonight, can't be bothered with it now.
Edit: Odd, I just did some work on it and pretty much eliminated the grain, but upon uploading it again, the grain has re-emerged.

Oh well, can't be helped...I'll do
more work on it later...

Fallen Phoenix, your avatar looks sort of like a white version of the Alien Queen. I don't think it's as clear a symbol of you as your previous phoenix was.
I'd give it a 6 overall.

Well, it was supposed to be one of the mass-produced evas...unfortunately, I couldn't find a good way to resize (and reformat) it to fit into the 100x100 25,000 byte maximum for the forums...which is why it looked really bad.

(I had some better quality versions of it that were 75 KB...

)
Anyway, since it was frustrating me a great deal, I decided to scrap it as an option and go back to Peter the Phoenix.
Pygmalion: I like it. Maybe it's just because my eyes are strained from all the (seemingly futile) work I was doing on the M.P.E. a while back, but it doesn't seem to have perfect clarity. I'll probably have to look at the avatar again later after my eyes are better to get a better sense of that, though.
However, I
can see some grain (around the profile of the figure and the plans)...not much, it's barely noticable...but it's there.
The background (other than the plans and the supplies) don't seem to be extremely clear...doesn't matter too much, though.
Overall, though, I like it, and I think it is a clear symbol of you.

I'll give it an 8.4/10 (84/100).

I like your avatar The Fallen Phoenix. For some reason, it reminds me of Dynablade from Kirby Super Star on the SNES. Everytime I see it I remember back to when I would play that game nearly nonstop...ah, the memories.

Darth nat your avatar does nothing for me, i don't know what it is and it's a bit too odd to be cute but not odd enough to be funny, it could have potential.

It's Mike(?) The TV from ReBoot. That guy was annoying but mildly funny.

I like it. It has tremendous presence, even though I don't recognize the character. It is an avatar that cannot be ignored or trifled with.
I just made my new one today (though I sorta miss Mandy-Dorothy and Billy-Roger). What'cha all think?
Awww, cute. It's a really clear picutre, too. I like it.
9/10.

Perfect. Such a great Roger/Dorothy moment too. Probably the closest that he gets to telling her his feelings for her. I never got a really good look at the expression on her face at that moment unitl now. So cute.

That's Medusa, she was a character in the Pet Shop of Horrors manga, though that is a pic from the anime OVA. She's an awesome character, even though she is a "pet". Pet Shop of Horrors is by far my favorite manga ever.
And I love your avatar too, ACT.

Nice DeLorean. I always liked the classic lines.
Now can you identify the guys in my avatar? A nice shiny nickel for the guy who figures it out.

It's one of those "fifty years later" pictures. The one on the left is Beck. The one on the right is Roger Smith.

Okay, I will take mercy on everyone - and I get to keep my nickel! *Grrr ... My nickel! Mine!*
The fellow in the Superman shirt is Mr. Jerome Siegel, and the fellow in the "Clark Kent" outfit is Mr. Joseph Shuster. The picture was taken circa 1970; both gentlemen have since Passed Beyond.
