its just seems a bit small... but still great quality... not really anything much else like grafical enhancements... but raw goodness...

what about my Ahb avatar Lafiel?

Schwarzwald: Your Ahb avatar of Lafiel isn't that bad. It isn't crystal clear...the avatar seems a little misty to me and as a result it's really hard to focus your eyes on it. However, I like the eyes (and facial expression)...like most anime eyes, they convey a good deal of emotion...and I'm always a sucker for things like that...

I'll give it a 7.8/10 (78/100).

And a little reminder...remember to rate avatars when posting in this thread...Tetsujin can be very picky about that...besides, it's common courtesy to rate other people's avatars if you expect yours to be rated in return.

I think it is misty due to the enviromental conditions that the character is in at the time. Not as a result of quality loss.
And Phoenix, your not the only sucker for that kind of thing. Eyes are said to be the gateway to the soul after all.

im diggin the jet plane, wingnut. its a lil small and kinda bad graphics, but im not gonna hold that against you, thats part of its charm. however, its a lil on the small side, so.. ill give you 9/10

Well that is because it was made for a forum that limited the size of avatars to 64x64 pixels in size. That and it is a screencap from a Super Robot Wars game in a widescreen format, like you would see in some movies.

I don't really see any effective way of correcting the problem of the letter compression without sacrficeing the size of the avatar itself. It looks good enough as it is and is legible enough to be easily read and identified.

Peter the Pheonix is awesome, good ol SF 2 action.
The Avatar sums up peter in all of his 16 bit greatness.

R.Smith: The Legendary Blinking Roger Smith: Yep, I'm rating this avatar. The background is a bit dull...but that's okay. The blinking is perfect, seems almost natural. The picture is clear and cartoonish...I like it.

I'm going to give it a 9.1/10 (91/100).

R. Smith- the 2 frame animation is ALOT better than your so called... updated one when it looks like he is passing out... but yeah... id go with pheonix... it is a dull backround...
his cocky hitting on a nice girl smile in interesting... alsthough it seems a bit edgy..
and his blinking is funky...

Fallen Pheonix- Hey didn't R. Smith make that one? I like the 8bit backround... its quite colorful and the pheonix looks like it fits right in...

Schwarzwald - 8.23/10 - Very cute pic of an elf, maybe? Sorry, but I'm unfamiliar with who she is supposed to be. But aside from the contrast, I like it.
