Rate The Avatar

iSpoonySthingyy!: Even the simplest images can stir profoundly complex thoughts.

It's a very simple, yet effective avatar. Image quality is pretty good...there isn't anything too horribly wrong with the clarity, though I think the contrast could be a little better (perhaps by sharpening the image just a tad bit).

A fairly original image...I think the use of color is very good. Personally, I think the colors could be a little more vivid (I only say this because I don't think the "washed-out" color effect is very effective here); alternatively, an increase in contrast might do the job, too.

My biggest problem with the avatar is that it's a bit small...but all in all, it's a pretty solid avatar.

For anyone else who was wondering, those "strange blob thingies" on the side of my head in my avatar are, in fact, like Spoony guessed, shadows. I was sitting by a window, and they are the shadows from the blinds.

FP:

Another fine avatar. The background is very cool (however, it's not as smooth as would be desired). Your foreground figure is extremely good, also. His head seems a little too flat, though, on the top left side.

Also, this might be a cool effect. Split the border between black and white to contrast the background it is bordering. I dunno how it'd look, but it has the potential to be cool. Especially since you can't see the border on the right side.

spoony: yours is a little grainy, but i like it nonetheless. 7/10

FP: I like yours as well, but somehow the background doesn't mix in too well with your, dare i say it, "warrior dude". 7/10

Almasy: I haven't done yours, so I hope you don't mind. Yours is pretty clear, and i won't make a big deal about the shadows. 8/10

Wienberg: It has a nice feel to it. The orangey effect plays well into it. 10/10

Well, I have to say, this is a pretty good avatar. Another fine one. Seems people are only turning out good ones as of late.

Anyway, you've got a lot going for you. In fact, you have everything going for you. This avatar is very good. Although, something is off. I just can't put my finger on it, though.

Also, this avatar is one of the few that are fine without a border.

Rogers Girl, it's quite fuzzy, like you took it off the television, but since I love the iron chef, I'll give you a 8.5/10.
