The PC Cookout Thread! Tentative 2005 date: 7/9

I'd love to help you and PCT get up there (you know the more the merrier, and also you want to go up there ) ...but I don't know how

I'd be willing to help ya guys anyway I can, with the exception of driving you up there personally ^^;; (I don't have a license yet ~.~#)

Though I would have no idea what to talk about with you (any of you for that matter X.x;;; ), wouldn't it be great just being there?
(Watching Me chase around Zach and vice versa...seeing some of the more famous people of the forums there...having food...listening to music...)

We should have a Pardigm Fundraiser to get people who can't afford it to the BBQ's it would be fun. I'll do some resurch into how that could work either right now or after school.

Thanks, Evan, you're such a sweetie, but it's not really finances that are the problem, it's just lousy timing on a landlord's part, my new job (I'll be on 'newbie probation' until late August), and a change in position at PCT's job (we hope).

As I said - next year. *grumbles at timing* I really wanted to see everyone, too. Maybe Zola can take pics and post them up with ID.

I won't be able to make it myself (my parents wouldn't cooperate, and also I'm gonna be out of the country). However, I would definitely like to see some pictures. And, if there's a live webcam I may be able to take a peek at it at some point.

Well, actually money isn't my parents' main concern :/

Its that my dad (unfortunently) isn't going to getting any vacation with his new job this summer and my mom isn't that willing to drive me across 5 states with just me and herself :\

but i'm still begging for them to take me there though =p

I'm afraid my parents' answers are going to be "maybe" through this whole thing

Anyways...The megamixes (well two of them anyways) are coming along real well ...The largest one, the ultimate, probably is too much of a challenge for me at the moment what with Finals coming up. Zola, after you get all the invitations replied to, could you give me a number of how many people will be at the party? I need to make sure I make enough CD's for everyone (only 1 per person ~~ )

Anyways, I'll send my address stuff ASAP...I still have some homework to do...

hmm...random question...sorry this may seem a tad off topic

Does anyone know of a program that can make CD covers? Not the CD case things, those I can print out and cut and slip in there...I mean like the sticker type thing that goes on the CD itself for custom CDs. ANyone know of a program that makes them or better yet a store that might have them??

I want to label the CD's so that they aren't just blank looking CDs...they can be very easilly mistaken for other burned CDs, that's why I want to put on a special Cookout edition type sticker thingy on them.
(My handwriting is horrible so don't think I'll use a Sharpy, tho it may be the easier solution in the time I have left)

A free program? No... there are templates to do this in both microsoft office and other word programs.

However, the program I use for this is made by label gear (as well as buying the physical labels themself)... PM me.

I'm going to, or at least I still need to make one last check with Ace of Spades to make sure he can give me a ride.

People, you are naturally welcome to show up if it turns out that you can at the last minute, but if there is even a tiny possiblity that you are going, let me know so I can send you the invitation. A legit invitation with a phone number and directions goes a long way towards convincing parents it's a real party

Zola, you're going to be sending out the invitations to the Cape Cod attendes, right? I don't want to step on your toes if you were sending to everyone, but I don't want to leave the West Coasties in the dark either.

Hell, my parents don't even KNOW about the forums...uh...<_<...>_< that's right, they never did. I'd go but I can't without telling them that I hang out at this site (they wouldn't have a problem with the site, but they'd wonder why I haven't told them about it yet). Also...

...despite being eighteen, my parents are paying for college, so I better not piss them off.
