It's probably not a good idea to bring alcohol.

Pie, on the other hand....

Root beer of the Henry Weinhard's persuasion, on the other hand, will certainly be in evidence at the Left Coast party.

I'm on the correct coast then (kidding.... Cape Cod sounds fun too. I grew up in NJ so I remember the Cape. ). Love Henry Weinhard Root Beer! That and pie! hehehe

I'd bring Birch Beer but I'd probably drink it all before I got up there. Big Grin And I probably couldn't bring enough for everyone. Too expensive. Frown

This is the official PC cookout thread!

Spring is on the way, and that means that summer isn't too far behind!

I would like to have a cookout for PC members sometime in June.

Because Cape Cod is absolutely legendary when it comes to weekend traffic, it is probably best to have it on a Saturday--that way you avoid the big rush on to the Cape on Friday and the big rush off on Sunday.

If it turns out everyone has graduations and weddings to go to, July would be fine too, although not the July 4th weekend unless you want to spend half the day in traffic!

If we get enough people, we can have the cookout at the beach! Smile

HOTDOGS! BRING HOTDOGS AND BBQ RIBS! CHIPS! SODA! REDBULL! A HUGE, FRICKEN WIDESCREEN TV AND THE DVD PLAYER TO WATCH BIG O! READING THE MANGA FOR STORYTIME! DOIN CHARADES OF BIG O CHARACTERS! PASS ME THOSE HOTDOGS AND CHIPS YA' FOOL!

now tell me Zola, did i just summerize what might happen there? Big Grin Cool Anime Smile

You forgot Evan dressed as Zenigata and cuffing people, several of the older people making puns, and the eventual visit by the cops for us to quiet down. ^_^

Oh, yeah, since it looks like a few people are going to be camping out on the property, may as well bring marshmallows and make s'mores over the grill-fire. ^_^

Something to think about. Everyone here does understand the parent issue, and the hosts certainly do expect a parent or two to be poking around and making sure things are safe. It's no problem.

Parents are more than welcome at the party, and I would be happy to call them if you need me to.

The same goes for the Left Coasters.

This sounds like fun.
My husband is NOT a Big O fan Confused
However, he has a friend in Eugene he'd like to visit. Maybe a little kissing up is in order.
Now what to do with the children....

Hmm...it seems that I might be going to florida in July, and back to NY in August to get ready for college. However, maybe we can organize a bbq for the southeast! Big Grin

1. My mom would have multiple heart attacks if I even asked her (no matter what you tell her shes still gonna believe everyone on the internet is a big hairy guy that wants to molest/kill children Sweatdrop )

2. Im on the west coast (Oxnard, CA) and could prolly never get a ride there

3. I dont really know anyone and would prolly end up standing around alone all loner status for the entire thing Tongue

BUT I STILL WANT TO GO!!! Crying

Well, who knows. I may be able to convince my mom, but just getting there is my major problem.

I am sooo with you and one and two... Sweatdrop Frown

My mom is soo paranoid... x__x

Jeff isn't going anyway...

West Coast, but It takes a lot of money to throw down to go to AX. And there is Anime Expo in New York also, they hold 3 AXs, California (The original) New York, and Japan.

Should I bring a soundtrack to the West Coast Party?

If you have a season 2 soundtrack, that would be great. We do have season 1.
