I plan on taking photo and posting them. Also, I will be making VCD's or DVD's of our Cookout (in Oregon). So, if anyone wants a copy, let me know. Smile

Well, I will be taking my Laptop (which has a DVD burner). So, if you are going to be at the BBQ, you can have one at the end of the day (if you want).

Well just to make people a little more excited, a few days ago (yesterday?) I shipped out the West Coast CDs to Madrona. Once received, she will bring them up to the West Coast party Anime Smile THe CD's for the East Coast cookout are also complete.

*IMPORTANT*
If you attend either cookout but do not receive a CD, please EMAIL me and I will ship one out to you ASAP and for NO charge.

Now then, CDs will only be given to PARADIGM CITY MEMBERS ONLY. If you are not a Member of Paradigm City Forums, YOU AIN'T GETTIN ONE!!!!!! >_< Thank you! Big Grin

ONE MORE THING! To get people a little more excited, here is one more pic of the CDs. On the left is the back cover of the case, and on the right is a better picture of the CD itself.
The Big Finale 07-06-2004 02:13 AM
The Big Finale would repectfully like to request that no pictures involving himself be posted on the internet without his permission.

Oh, and just so everyone knows: The Big Finale's name is Phillip. Phillip Peck.

(WITH TWO FREAKIN' "L"s! I can't count how many times that it's been mispelled! *ahem* Sorry.)
evanASF27 07-06-2004 02:54 AM
Can I ask permission before hand because I have no clue what you look like and will probably forget after 1 day...(sorry, I just really have a bad memory >_<)
Pygmalion 07-06-2004 07:14 AM
Don't worry, evan, Big Finale is coming to the West Coast edition, so you won't be inadvertantly taking his picture.

Woo Hoo! Glad they made it one piece. I can't wait until I get my copy!

I'll be taking pictures too. I was going to set up a gallery off the forum of all my pictures so everyone can view them. I'll try to remember to ask people about their preference of whether it's okay to post their photos or not. I would say that if you have a preference of not having them posted, please mention it to me at the BBQ and I'll be sure to try to not get you in any photos I take (or will put them in my "DO NOT USE" folder or crop you out, etc.).

See all of you West Coast people Saturday (except for Tony and Madrona... I'll see you guys on Friday! Big Grin )!

BabyGhia

PS. Wish I could go to both BBQs... oh well. I'll be there, on the East Coast, in spirit.
A Clockwork Tomato 07-06-2004 10:35 PM
There WILL be a Webcam for at least part of the West Coast cookout on Saturday.

I blew the dust off my kids' webcam, which came with Lego Studios (It's a Logictech QuickCam inside). It seems to be working with my Win98 laptop.

At the moment you can get an exciting view of my living room if you sign onto Yahoo Messenger and connect with user ParadigmCityWest and find the View Webcam options.

I don't know if there's a better way of doing this. I've never done WebCams before.

If you don't have Yahoo Messenger, you can down load it from www.yahoo.com. I think it's better in every way than AIM.
evanASF27 07-06-2004 11:06 PM
methinks it would be wise to do what Zola is gonna do and put it up on the web. (If you don't know how, it would probably be good to ask Zola for asistance)

Yahoo I think only allows one person at a time to view your webcam...or am wrong and it actually let's multpile users see the webcam? O.o;;;

It allows up to 20 or so. With "Super-Mode" enabled, though, you can only have one person viewing and they must both be on broadband connections.
evanASF27 07-07-2004 01:45 AM
Oh ok...I guess I was getting it mixed up with the MSNM webcam rules/limitations.

Anyways...here's a pretty generic type question. Will the cookouts be occuring at the same times?

I'm sure there will be some overlap. Things here will get started roughly around 10 am, with the food scheduled for 2 pm (you can't hurry barbeque!) because ACT has the Farmer's Market in Corvallis from 9 to 1. (If you want to see him working, you'll want to get there before he's sold out; 10 am is about right.)

I'm leaving for my hotel in the Cape (which is 6 minutes away from Zola O.o;;; ) tomorrow morning at 10:00..ish...

So if anybody wants me to bring specific music (no rap...no punk...no modern sh*t Mad )...better ask me now!

I'll be burning a CD of my other Megamixes tonight so we'll be able to set the mood a bit at the party. Big Grin Like "The Union" when we're pretty much drunk (with happyness >.>)...ok well maybe not like that...but wouldn't "Military Police" or "Remix Ellis Island" be a nice end-of-the-party-song in the wee hours of the morning? Smile

Anyways...I NEED TO GET MY BROWN SLACKS IRONED O.o;;; BYEEE
