Another new person!

Hello, everyone!

I wandered across this site a couple weeks ago, and after becoming a local haunt since then, I actually decided to get off my lazy proverbial butt and register. This is the first forum I've ever bothered to register for, so kudos to all of you who made it interesting enough to make me do so. Also, I apologize in advance for any dumb little thing I might do, being that I'm losing my forum "innocence" here.

I'm a poor college student (so all monetary donations to me are welcome!) I'm a new-age retro hippie with a scientific and technological streak, and garage sales and thrift stores are my best friends. I love cats and I've been a coffee addict for a few years already. I don't like to sleep, so I avoid it at all costs, unless absolutely necessary. I'm also very Polish and ever-so-slowly am picking up the language.

But I'm glad to be here with all of you fine people (who actually use grammar and punctuation! ) So rare a things these days on the internet). From what I've seen, I should have a great time!

Hello and welcome, it is nice to see someone bothering to register here who never did with anyone before. Save for the cats (I have a bird) and the fact that to me coffee tastes way too nasty, you could be the female equilivent of myself in the real world! Scarey too considering that I don't live far from you either huh?
The only bad thing here is the member known as R.Smith. As you may or may not be aware he is the resident "digital pimp" and will try to charm you into becomeing part of his legions of fangirls. Do not fall for it! Like his namesake, he too is a louse.
Other than that have fun at what has become the most friendly anime forum on the net.

For that, I present to you a staff of elm. If he gets too close, you may simply bash him (or any other offender) on the head. I think it is a fairly effective weapon; it works for me, at the very least (though for a completely different purpose. You can see the Speakeasy RPG for more details concerning my trusty staff of yew).

As for me (and others) being jealous that you have seven fangirls? Why would one need so many? I'm satisfied with what I have...something better than a fangirl (no offense to you fanpeople out there! ).

Ah, thanks everybody for the introductions! I registered just before I started babysitting, and I looked back just after I was done and WOW! Lots of replies. I feel so special!

As for my name, it is in reference to the Fate from Greek mythology (I love mythology). A friend of mine and I have a rather morbid fascination with death, and choosing my name after the Fate who cut the thread of life seemed appropriate. (She was also the shortest--like me!) As for it being the name of Seraphim's megadeus, well, that's just a strange coincidence. I didn't stalk you--I swear!

And yes, Cystalline, I fell in love with Tori years ago. And I've already checked out your site--awesome pictures. I myself am going into art (specifically graphic design) so they were particularly interesting.

As for insanity--I'm full of it. I mean, come on! I only sleep about four hours a night and will regularly drink coffee at midnight! (And I'm proud of it. )

And no digital pimp(s) shall have me! (Or if they do, they have to get through my lanky Filipino of a boyfriend first...)

I was considering Lachesis as my name (I like the ring it has)...but still, I had to go with the one about DEATH.

I was also thinking about Terpsichore, but I'm not much of a dancer anymore, so...

And Greek mythology rocks! Yes, it's very cool to find someone else who likes it! My friends think I'm insane because I'll read about it by my own free will (well, they also have other reasons, but I'm not about to go into all of those).
