Hello, everybody. I realise that this is, apparently, a more-than-common occurrence for a newbie to introduce himself, but I thought "Hey, why not? After all, you are entering the domes of Paradigm City for the first time..." Well, now that I've learned to forget, let me introduce myself to you all.
I've been a Big O fan for about three weeks now--that's right, only about three weeks. However, I think that, since I finally started paying attention to the series, I've found a completely unique world that hooked me. In actuality, I saw the first episode of Big O when it first aired on Toonami in the United States, but was certainly turned away by the unusual artwork and less-than-action-packed story. (At least, this was what I thought at the time, which was indeed the same time that Gundam Wing was filling my head with my first glimpses of giant robots, ever.)
Now, after deciding to check-out Big O once again for the sheer reason that it was the last thing on the air before I went to bed, I've found myself with a new best friend; Big O is a series unlike any other that I've seen, and that's the absolute truth. As a result, I saw the final five episodes and am now rewatching the entire series from the beginning--its a breath of fresh air in my world of anime fandom, to be sure.
Anyway, I'm very glad to be here, to be able to talk with other Big O fans, and enjoy the world of Paradigm City. May we all be 'cast in the name of God'.
Sincerely,
Prime

Hello, and Welcome from me, Wienberg, the Lord of the Hippies.
Anyway, Firstly. Read the FAQ, along with all the threads people mentioned. It'll help you out in your quest to seek the holy grail, I mean, to not piss off a lot of other members. Those will serve you well, a nd also I suggest that if you need help just PM me. I'm around quite often and am ready to answer any question I can.
As for your gift. I would probably be one of those members FP was talking about in the quote. Your gift is a sweaty gym sock. It smells so bad it could kill you. Watch out for that. Also, containted within is the gift of Major Pain, a forum member who rarely visits any longer. It is a glow stick he peed on.
As for the threads The Fallen Phoenix said to watch out for, it's basically anything started by A Clockwork Tomato (ACT). Those are always dangerous, be prepared when you enter.
As for that, all you can do now is enjoy your stay!

That's a star you will never have r.jpf.
That's the moderator/staff/admin star. People with those stars are cool. We have cool moderators. They're nice and aren't overzealous. Thats why so many people like these forums.

Yes, I too originally overlooked big o when it was on toonami. I thought it was only mildly interesting. Later while looking for an episode of family guy I stumbled upon the 1st act and after act 4 I was hooked.
WElcome to Paradigm CIty!
