AS debuted a commercial footer during BIG O tonight listing possible voice actors for THE BIG O HIMSELF and heavily suggesting that the season is being made!

I saw this too. I thought it was interesting. It also said something along the lines of "Who wants a Big O season 3? We all do." Showing the heavy support at AS. Sounds like, if they haven't already made the deal, they're in the final negotiations to get it done. How great!

Well, first off, I'll assume that your little note about a moderator removing part of your post was a joke and not an attempt to paint us as cruel tyrants who meddle in every post in order to keep a very strict and emotionless enviornment...

Secondly, I must have missed that... When did they show it? Because I don't recall seeing such a footer...'course, I can blame that on the fact that I'm starting to fall asleep and usually pay no mind to their bumpers or commercials...

Though if it is true, I suppose it is good news...

Same here. I haven't watched AS since I lost my Family Guy DVDs (oh, the agony ), so I'm pretty surprised by such news. I wonder how long these episodes will take to come out, how many there will be, and if the Japanese will be working on it.

First, I hope AS isn't a lying piece of sh** like they've always been since Ep. 26...

so far all i believe is the moderator removed cause of the lenght thing but other than that.

plus i dont have my tv anymore and i wouldnt know what could have happened.

You're taking something that listed Christopher Walken as the voice of Big O for real?

I know some theories on the ending require suspension of disbelief, but I didn't think anyone was applying it to Big O cards.

I thought they were probably kidding about the list of possible voice actors for Big O. I'm not sure they were kidding about the third season, though.

Actually, I can't think of *anyone* I'd like to "voice" Big O. I think it's better for him to remain mute, or to "speak" through Dorothy, or telepathically.

yah when did they show that card?? I watched act 4 tonight and saw nothing of the sort...of course it might have been when I was getting a drink of water... but meh...


Season3...who knows...it better not be some kind of Trigun style show where everything is gone and they have to rely on basically machines etc to live (Tho I like Trigun, a trigun style Big O would be just wrong)

Notice the final statement [hilarious] in the second card, they used [Adult Swim] at the end of the first. The second was of course a joke but maybe there was truth about there being a season three in the first card.

DAM YOU AS PEOPLE! Why must you hold the future of big o by the balls?!

We never know if they are serious or joking. Everything they say is cryptic and saturated with humor.

Rick James could do it.

Big O could, as part of this. Gain a new attack called "the big slap", or incorporate a straw jammed up it's faceplate into the final stage.

....Yes, I'm making jokes about Rick James being a coke fiend and a wife beater. It's all the rage now, ever since that show on comedy central, which I can't remember the name of right now.

("What did the five fingers say to the face....SLAP!". Classic, classic stuff).

The "SUNDAY SUNDAY SUNDAY!" guy would work well also. Especially during scenes in which Big O faught another megadeus

"COMING, FOR ONE NIGHT ONLY. THIS SUNDAY. WATCH AS BIG O LEVELS AN ENTIRE BUILDING. SHUDDER AT THE AWESOME TERROR THAT IS BIG DUO ("DUO" is repeated four times at an increasingly fading volume). WITH SPECIAL APPEARANCE BY GRAVE DIGGER (*Shot of a monster truck rolling over the griffon*) FREE HATS TO THE FIRST 100 TICKET HOLDERS."

Good stuff....alright, it's official then. Sleep deprivation dosen't bode well for things I post.

Just saw the little commcercial. Here is what I think. Almost all those little Adult Swim footers have truth, and yet some comedy as well. I really think that it was a serious implication that there very well might be a season 3!! And just so they could make the footer a little funny, they did the Big O voice actor thing. But, like I said.....I really think that there is some truth to this footer........ .......

heres hoping that there is... AS should no by now that if they jerk us hardcore Big O fans around, they just might end up with a riotous mob at their doorstep.

If it comes to that, I'll bring the torches! Who wants to bring the pitchforks?

It occurs to me that production may have already started but they are keeping it under wraps. I really hope that turns out to be the case!

More Big O!

Anyone have any thoughts on the bumper that played on 2-16-04 that said something to this effect:

"A lot of you would like to see a Season 3 of Big O."

"We think everyone would....everyone."

or something to that effect. When I saw that I took it to mean that there is a lot of backing for Season 3 and it is reaching the top levels.

Thoughts?
