It wouldn't hurt to sign that petition to show that Big O still has interested fans, but online petitions rarely (if ever) work, so don't get your hopes up about this one. Sending that petition to Konaka will have no effect, since he is not the one who has a say in whether or not another season gets made. Personally, I think the
written petition has alot more potential for getting results, since companies will definitely take it more seriously.

Hey, Konaka-san is the guy who wrote the show plus he said in his mail that if the fan want a third season there could be reunion.

Yes, he is the head writer, but he can't produce another season of Big O alone. He would need the support of the other companies responsible, such as Bandai and Sunrise.

The petition documents aren't ready yet (I think ZeaLitY is still waiting to hear back from the companies he contacted), but when they are, you can download one, print it out, and actually sign it. Once that is done, you would need to mail it to one of the collectors (who haven't been chosen yet), who would then mail it in to the companies involved in making Big O.

The general idea is to try and use blogs and other anime sites to your advantage - generally high traffic ones that get hundreds to thousands of clientele. Quite a few people are old fans of Big O and just aren't aware of it's existence.
Also, I think that petition is mostly temporarily until we can get a real one started - but I'm not that well informed about it. We put the petition up as, well, mostly as a gesture and mostly to get Big O fans together and show them we are at least trying to do stuff.

7. how and why did the megadeuses destroy the rest of the world ?
8. how can people suddenly lose their memories ?
9. what happened to PC and its citizens just after the "reset" in act 26 ?
10. what happened to PC and its citizens between this "reset" and the moment when Roger prsents himself ?
11. how and who rebuilt PC ?
12. what's the behemoth ? who build and designed the megadeuses ?
13. more explanations about "winter night phantom" and Dastun's dream.
I had other questions that a third season must answer to.

14. Where does Norman take energy to reload Big O batteries from ? A megadeus needs a lot of energy, as we saw for Big Fau. This megadeus got energy from an electric central. Thus where does the electricity come from to reload Big O ?
15. How and where does Norman take pieces to repair Big O from ? I mean when Big O is damaged Norman repairs him in changing the destroyed pieces. Who is his supplier ? Where do the new pieces come from ?
