Aargh! Zola, you beat me to it! I was going to make a broom Roger! (Of course my husband would probably think I'm cheating on him - 'No, I swear, this is just a joke! I'm not trying to be Dorothy - this haircut was an accident!')
Oh, yeah, I accidently got my hair cut like manga Dorothy. Considering how I look, it might go in this thread as a funny pic. Or a pathetic pic ... *shrugs*

Lady Tesser, there are never enough Broom-Rogers in the world
My hair is WAY too long to do a Dorothy. If I ever try to cosplay her, (and likely I won't because my girlish figure disappeared some years ago after the children), I would have to just run my hair down my back and put a wig
over it because it's so long I wouldn't be able to pin it up underneath, LOL.
The hair and the buxom figure are great to play Lulu from Final Fantasy, though--I'm starting to get the costume material together now, my stepdaughter is in hairdresser school and she and one of her instructors sat down and got the hairstyle all figured out, and I have a friend who makes jewelry who is pretty sure she can do a good facsimile of the necklaces
With any luck, I will see some of you at
Anime Boston in April. This is going to be fun

I drew it with Paint Shop Pro. I was wearing a plain black top when we took the pic. I'm still trying to make a Dorothy costume ... can't find any patterns for jabots.

Okay, I'll see if I can whip up a broom Roger with my Roxanne costume (the only thing holding me back on that is the wig), and pose with it. ^_^
Unibasu, that's a freaky Beck - and it looks great!
BTW - The tie can be made with a black clip-on tie (Sears) and some white fabric paint (and use tape to make the lines straight). That's how I'm making Roxanne's.
