I think they look great! The whole point of cosplay is to dress up like a character - not to look EXACTLY like them, bodywise (always tee's me off when people assume that. If it were true, then NOBODY has ANY business cosplaying - especially characters from martial arts shows).

I'm not sure whether to agree with LT on it doesn't matter and about the whole point of cosplaying, or to say I think Dorothy is an improvement!

If I can get my hair to grow a little longer I was thinking of trying to cosplay Kenshin (but i'm not doing the pony-tail-thing, that's just weird). I can already do some of his attacks too! My battou-jutso can knock the contents right out of someone's hands! (as opposed to the Battousai's instint death/ Kenshin's real quick slice)

Does anyone here have a capture card? If so, do u have season 2 pics/can make some on request? I can use them to make some pics for this topic... I'm thinking something like mxing Big O with Beach Boys.. or is it Beastie Boys? i get the two mixed up..

Sorry my commentary about cosplaying was harsh. As an actress, I'm always being by-passed for parts because I don't look like (try being the age of an ingenue character but have the presence of a grand old dame - i'm Dolly [Hello Dolly], not Christine [Phantom of the Opera]), so cosplayers being criticised for dressing as their favorite characters for fun sort of defeats the purpose, in my opinion.

I may be wrong.

My fanfic 'Rose' had a scene of someone playing Gilbert and Sullivan's 'Modern Major-General' (if you ever heard it, you would be violent, too). Thinking it's Dorothy playing it, Roger yelled, "That's it! You're getting a long over-due spanking!" No erotic connotation at all - more like an upset father.

Here's something for those who know their slang history.

I didnt understand it but it's still funny as hell without the backround knowledge. Sigh off to work for me...
