Ah, it has been awhile since I checked in to the Big O funny picture thread...but I'm glad I did!

I love this! Good one! And totally in the spirit!

Couldn'ta put it any better myself. Funny stuff.

You had to have known the moustaches would start a slew of new funny picture posts...

And it is funnier in French.

As some one who took French lessons for years and years, isn't Dastun saying: "Y ou have an interesting moustache" as opposed to "I like your moustache"? If he were truly saying I like your moustache, wouldn't he say: "J'aime beaucoup votre moustache" ?

Not trying to be picky or petty, it's just that I love the French language so much I want it to be translated correctly. C'est tout je veux...

THat's the way I translated it too. I suck at French, but it seemed fairly obvious that he was saying Sybil's 'stache was interesting.

Mmm- toasty.

You are both probably right. I've never gotten past the "your hovercraft is full of eels" stage in anything but German & Japanese.

Hey Pygmalion! Still haven't gotten around to reading your fan fiction Piano Player, but I will. Did you see Dork's Quinzos art? It was bound to happen, the spongemonkeys found Paradigm City.

Oh, no, product placement in our favorite show! Well, if it'll help bring about a season 3, maybe I can swallow it.

Good show, Dork!

Fu ha ha ha ha ha! That's the funniest thing I've seen in days!

Or maybe I have an odd sense of humor.

I think that's correct as well. I took French for three years in high school and in college, but I think I've reverted from lack of practice.

It has bugged me forever that they mistranslated the language in Winter Night Phantom. "Vous si gentil" (butchered spelling. I know). literally means "you if nice." I'm 99.9% sure she said "Vous etes gentil."

Nope, sorry. 'Si' can mean 'yes', 'so', or 'if'.

Hah-hah-hah! You heard the man! Where are his damn pants?

Personally, I'd rather have him without them...
Hanyou 04-05-2004 10:45 AM
It's funny if you picture it with Smith's voice..."Who the hell am I?" is replaced with "Where the hell are my pants?"

Heheheh...

I had trouble coming up with an embarrasing nickname for Dora,. . . so. . . bleg >_<
Tony Waynewrong 04-05-2004 04:12 PM
And why wasn't Dork included as one of the most funniest members is beyond my fragile little mind.

Excellent work, Dork. This was good.

Kudos! Wink
