Sorry but I'm still stuck on "You sunk my battleship"...

But Roger's curfew is too funny also.

I guess that one's more for us old folks Smile

There was an ad on forever for that game. They would be calling out numbers and at the end of the commercial one of the kids said in a very hammy way "You sunk my battleship!"

I suspect that everyone who remembers the commercial thought it was funny. Smile

Yes, that was back in the day when corny commericials like that could still be shown on TV with out everyone turning away from the screen in disgust or claiming that they have to use the bathroom in order to escape watching it again, even if they just used the facilities 5 minutes earlier.
I remember it was right on the box the game came in.

What I meant was that I found it to be very funny! Couldn't forget it when I saw the other ones... I was laughing so hard.

Sorry for the confusion.

That's exactly the kind of reaction I hoped for, I'm glad it made you laugh. Smile

And on the bright side, at least the pic is explained now for those who never saw the commercial.

Well, things could be worse.
It seems that after the strange events of episode 26, things have been put back to the beginning, again.
Sorta'...

To Be Continued...

LOL Big Grin
Reminds me of the commander on Shadow Madness.
"My size 14 boot would be a poor fit between your buttocks"

Funny stuff! LOL Wink

Quite funny. But as if Roger would do that to Dorothy...Empty threat?
Tony Waynewrong 03-08-2004 12:49 AM
Nice, YZEtc. That was really smooth. Now Roger is threatening Dorothy with violence and now Dorothy will have to hurt poor Roger. For shame! Wink

Excellent work. Kudos!

Ah, how quickly the veneer of "being a gentleman" peels, revealing the hedonist beneath.

I know!
Shocking, yet somehow not entirely surprising.

I can only assume, Pygmalion, after the whole kit and cabootle was wiped from existance like that that things are just a weeeeeeeeee bit off.
I'm guessing that Angel is still getting the hang of this sort of thing, as we shall see in Part 2 Wink .
Dork 03-08-2004 09:44 AM
Can't wait to see how it ends. I like when Rger makes empty threats to Dorothy. It's funny and cute for some reason.

For some bizaare reason the internet compie at home that I have access to (have not yet gotten the correct cables run to my room) will not acknowledge the floppy's existance. So I would have posted this earlier but. . . ya know.

lalala . . .

Sorry for double posting but I just realized I had another pic on my disc (I'm using the compie at the college) I wanted to post and I don't know if I'll be able to get back on today (huge psychology test at 2:00) and I don't really have enough time to log into my HP account to host the photo. So lalala. . .

Sorry guys.

'The Greatest Villian'

What was up with that episode? Everyone was so off. It really kinda ticked me off even with the excessive cute-ness.

Dork, thank you so much for offing a power ranger for our amusement! *crisp salute* ... I may weep for joy. Smile )

Exactly Wink

I liked the propoganda film in that episode.

ROTFL! They just can't stop arguing, can they? Even if it's about who's cuter!

I think the ep was mostly for fun, to tell you the truth. It had homages to past cartoons/shows all over the place, but still did some important character development. For example, that's the ep where Datsun officially tells Dorothy that he views her as a full person by starting to refer to her as an android and correcting himself and saying "girl".

It's one of my all time favorites and never fails to make me laugh Smile
Pygmalion 03-08-2004 02:31 PM
Like all the Beck episodes, it brought Roger & Dorothy closer. I'm not sure where they'd end up if there were a season 3 Beck episode.Though I can make an educated guess.
Kinda funny to think of the "Greatest Villian" playing Cupid!

Pygmalion
Tony Waynewrong 03-08-2004 02:44 PM
Dork, this was really sweet. Dorothy and Roger "fighting" on who is cuter (I think Dorothy is, myself). Smile

Great job! Kudos.
