Behemoth Size Comparison

MetalGoldKnight 01-26-2004 04:39 PM
Looking thorugh the Eva vs. Big O thread, I saw a size comparison chart Zowpx did, and just out of curiousity (and boredom) I decided to do a proportionate size comparison with the Behemoth from Ep. 25 thrown in as well, since I was curious on just *how* huge it was. Anyway, I copied and pasted it in proportion to the size of Big O in the picture when he was lifting it up. Note that some parts of the Behemoth were covered by debris, which is why I had to "fill in" those parts on my own.

Thank you... Cool And thank you Big Grin

Wait, I remember Big O looking bigger compared to Behemoth then that...

I think that the Behemoth's head is the same size of an Archetype head.

Edit: Whoops. It's like 5x bigger than an Archetype head. lmao what was I thinking?

awww...look at the cute wittle Gundam!
*pets*

Wow...Behemoth is just...MASSIVE!

Behemoth definitely is huge, but it's nowhere near big enough to be the room the Archetype was in... Roll Eyes

I was curious because they never show it but how do they kill the behemoth? (it was either really poorly edited or i just wasn't paying attention)

I missed that, too. I think the consensus is that a falling chunk of sky landed on it.

Poor Starscream, he's like a midget compared to all of them. And that Eva robot is just tall. That doesn't make it strong though. It's like the Thug of animé robots.

To me, Behemoth looks like a tick. Which I would think to be appropiate since he is the one supposed to sucking the memories out of paradigm.

I still maintain that Big O is 200 feet tall, rather than 95. In which case he's the Biggest (pun fully intended Big Grin ) robot there!

I think your right on that one. Compare for example, the size of Big O relative to some of the military police's armored fighting vehicles. Those Self-Propelled Artilleries (Ep 26) are at least 25 feet long and Big O is much taller than four of them stacked on top of each other (lengthwise). Can anyone get any images comparing the two?

Very nice, just one question: Anyone know where that Big O 3D render came from?

"I still maintain that Big O is 200 feet tall, rather than 95. In which case he's the Biggest (pun fully intended ) robot there!"

Even if I agreed with you on that, which I don't, the Behemoth's size is judged by how big it is compared to Big O (from the scene where Big O was holding it up). So if Big O was 200 ft. instead of 98 then the Behemoth would be over twice the size its shown as in the graph, which would also make it about roughly roughly the height of the Empire State Building...

Looking at this screenshot of Big O lifting up Behemoth (notice the tattered skyscrapers around them and in the background), thats very possible.

thats strange cause i read that in the BIG O book, the BIGs are on average as tall as a 20 story building. if u compare the gundams to the bigs, the gundams are about half the size of 1 big. if u compare alot of scenes involving gundams and scenes with bigs, u will notice that most gundans are as tall as most brownstone (brick) buildings that are about 3 to 5 stories tall (about 3-5 floors). I live in a 20 Story building and when it is whieghed and imagined, for some logical reason the BIG being about 20 flrs high makes some sense. the gundams werent always so "tall" as depicted in some scenes.

Well, if it says BIGs are the size of a 20 story building then they CAN'T be 100ft tall. Of course, unless every story is 5 ft and you like crouch to move around in your apartment. I mean, every story has to be about 10-12 feet. So, even if it was 10 feet per floor that would make a BIG at least 200 ft.

You know those little chunks of debris that were obscuring parts of Behemoth? Those were frikin skyscrapers! That thing is massive. i like the tick analogy; Behemoth hiding under the city sucking out all the memories. Do you think the Behemoth was what caused the terror underground or was that Big Venus trying to keep people form discovering it?
