I believeb the average height for a japanese person is about from 4'11 to 5'6 or 5'5 sumwhere in theree and in america if your 4'11 when your fully gorwn you concidered to have a handicap so i find that a lil strange! lol but also from what i hear (what i've been told) the japanese make their character they wanna look.. does that make sence like since they all kinda look the same they show diversity through there anime! and model them like they wanna look!

But what is it with anime characters and blue hair? Anyone know that answer? Confused

The wide range of hair colors is to make it easier to distinguish between characters. Notice that usually in Anime no two characters have the exact same hair color unless they are related, though some more recent shows break this trend. The hair color often reflects something about the character.

I found a site with some info on what different colors represent.

http://moonbase.rydia.net/mental/writings/anime-hair-color

"Red: In women, red hair generally connotes a brazen, confident character -- often having special abilities." (i.e. Asuka from Evangelion)

"Blue: Likable characters. shy, sweet, smart, funny." (i.e. Rei from Evangelion)

"Pink: Generally only seen in female characters, girls with pink hair are cheerfully cute, often to the point of being downright obnoxious." (i.e. Mayura from Matantei Loki: Ragnarok)
