Isaac pulled the final plug. Dorothy suddenly sat up and gasped, as though she was surfacing from a long dive. Wait…a gasp…she could breathe? Was this right? Dorothy’s thoughts were interrupted by a familiar face in her vision, Roger was staring at her with a look that was a mixture of extreme happiness and worry. “Dorothy…” “Roger…”

"What happened? Why am I here? What did you two do to me? What-"

:: She forgot to breathe. She grabbed herself below her neck and gasped for air. She coughed. She coughed again. ::

"What am I..."

:: She looked at Roger and Isaac. Isaac was busy cleaning some untensils off. Some of them were stained...stained with blood...as if they had been around human organs. But she... ::

"What happened..."

:: Was it possible for her to faint? It sounded pretty good right about now. She got off her resting place and looked down at her hands. Same, but different. ::

"Roger, come here."

:: She grabbed his wrist before he could reply. Warm skin...a little textured. She felt the back of her wrist. Warm...she wasn't supposed to be warm. ::

"Good news." Isaac said. "You've lost 179 pounds."

:: Not what she wanted to hear. She had lost weight...equiptment. She grabbed Roger by the neck of his coat and pulled him close. ::

"Tell me what happened. Everything that happened and don't leave anything out!"

:: This voice...it wasn't hers. It sounded a little bit like Angels voice slightly. More femenine and less mechanical. Great...she was human...or at least part human. This was going to take alot of time to get used to...plus it would cost Roger a few extra dollars on girlie things that humans needed. Great...she had the ability to wash her hair...she was a commoner...no longer unique. ::

:: Roger opened his mouth to speak, but took his sweet time drawing breath. Dorothy gave Roger a shake. OK...considering he almost had whiplash, she still had her stregnth. ::

"Forgive me. I think I'll do my chores now. "

:: She felt Rogers, and even Isaacs eyes on her, as she retreated from the room. There were holes in her dress from where she had been shot. She would change into a nightgown and go to bed and do her chores in the morning. now that she thought of it, she was tired. ::

:: Tired...another feeling she would need to adapt to. It was stressful...annoying...irritation...frustrating...she would need to get used to all of those emotions. ::

:: She sat down lightly on the couch in time to see Norman dissappear through a door on the other side of the room. He was whistling something. ::

:: Something positive. Whistling was a form of music. Now that she consumed air, she could possibly do it too. She sighed. It might not be so bad. Suddenly, she had a craving for ice cream and opened the freezer, smiling. ::

((( There we go. From good to bad. I planned this post out in advance except for the ice cream. I used it so we I could show how somewhat-human she really was. )))

Angel sat with her hands folded in her lap, tapping her foot from nerves.

She wanted a cigarette. No, by all means, she needed a cigarette, and it was driving her crazy.

But that wasn't the only thing. She had more or less told Roger she loved him. Wether she had intended to, and meant it, or it had just seemed to be the right thing to say, she had said it, and there was no reversing it.

But what did it matter anyway? He was busy worrying his brain and heart out about Dorothy. She was fully rectified. Anything Angel could have said to offend her was no long applicable. She was human. Perhaps only part human, with certain organs, but she was more or less womanly then before.

Angel gave a frustrated grunt, and kicked at the ground.

Cigarette, damnit.

She could hear their muffled voices from the opposing side of the room and door. Isaac was a genius. She growled again, realizing her had her purse, and all of her possessions.

"Damn," she swore outloud.

She knew her place was no longer where here. If there was another place in the dome she could go, she wanted to go soon. She wanted to go now. She wanted to get out of here, and away from the heart ache she was beginging to expierance.

She ripped a length of her pink slip from under her skirt, and tied it around the post of the chair. She pullled out a stray hair pin, and pinned it there.

With a final look, she exited.

Dorothy had just left the room and Roger had turned to follow her. “Wait,” said Isaac. “What is it?” Roger asked. “We need to discuss the Big Omega.” Roger stopped short, the events with Dorothy had made him forget all about Meggido and Big Omega. “What about it?” Roger asked. “It is completed now,” Isaac stated. “Wha-how do you know that?” Roger burst out. “During the events in the subway the past day Meggido copied my memories. He also removed the energy prism that powered Dorothy. The Big Omega is already being completed.” “So what does that mean for us?” Roger asked. “We must be ready for its resurrection,” Isaac answered. “Nothing that we can do before then?” Roger questioned. “Other than prepare ourselves for its return there is nothing.” Roger sighed, all they could do was sit on their hands until Meggido decided to show himself again.

As he left Roger turned back to Isaac. “How human did you make Dorothy?” he asked. “Biologically she is a fully functional adult female,” the android stated. Fully functional female…“Why did you do that?” “Don’t get any strange ideas,” Isaac said, “It was necessary in order to ensure that all of the biological systems integrated into her mechanical systems would function properly.” Roger gave Isaac a somewhat odd look. Why was anything that this android said or did surprising him now? Roger walked out of the room.

Isaac placed the scalpel on the table. Now that all of this was finished, there was nothing to distract him from what he had needed to do for a long time now. The white-haired android walked out of the lab and out of the house for that matter. He surveyed the area and saw a car pulling away. The android began to scale up Roger’s mansion…

Roger went out to find Dorothy; she had left in kind of a huff. Though Roger had to admit she did have every right to she could have at least thanked them. “I’ll probably need to explain all of this to her,” Roger thought. From what Isaac had told him it seemed as though Dorothy would be perfectly human now, or at least act that way. There she was, in the kitchen. Dorothy had gotten herself a bowl of ice cream and was busy eating it. Roger walked over and sat down across from her at the table. Before he could say anything Dorothy cut him off, “What has happened to me, Roger?” In her voice he could recognize what he thought were a small amount of fear and uncertainty. “Okay, I’m no technical expert, but I’ll try to explain this as best as I can.” Dorothy nodded, accepting the apology in advance.

I got Isaac to repair you, at least I tried to. But he said that you were too damaged to be repaired, and that the only way to bring you back would be to turn you into a cyborg, a cybernetic organism as he put it. Apparently, that means that he practically turned you into a human, he replaced your damaged mechanical parts with tissue. He said that he integrated your systems. So, you’re now part android and part human. You’re also going to have to deal with all of the complications that come with being human: eating, sleeping, etcetera.

Dorothy nodded her head. Roger’s explanation had been a lot to take in. So she was essentially a human now, and she would need to live as such then. She began to eat her ice cream. Roger felt his stomach growl; it was a rather loud growl. He chuckled a little, “I guess that I need to get something to eat.” “You’re welcome to share my ice cream,” Dorothy offered. “Thanks,” said Roger politely, “But I think that I need something more substantial than that, come to think of it you’ve got to be pretty hungry also.” “Yes, I do believe that I am experiencing hunger,” Dorothy stated. Roger smiled, “Good, I’ll go get Norman to fix us something.” But no sooner had Roger stood up then none other than Norman walked into the kitchen. “Do forgive me, Master Roger, but I was very distracted by completing the repairs to Big O. I will begin to fix your dinner right away, and might I hazard to guess that Miss Dorothy is hungry as well?” “Yes,” Dorothy answered. Norman began the cooking right away.

Meanwhile

In the deepest area of Paradigm City’s tunnels three figure looked on. They were staring at a giant glowing green tank. Within the tank was a Megadeus, the Big Omega. The sound of a video monitor activating pulled them away from their observations. “I trust that it is being completed?” “Yes,” they all answered. “Does he suspect anything of the trust?” “No.” “Very well, and what about Nightingale?” “It will all be ready.”

Meanwhile

Angel was driving. She didn’t know where she would go. That android, no, she wasn’t an android anymore… What was she now? Not quite an android, yet not quite a human either… Angel puffed at her cigarette. She hated Dorothy, whatever she was…

With the force of a meteor it fell. In an instant the front of Angel’s car was flattened to the road. She gasped, staring at what had crushed her car’s front. The shadowy figure reached through the shattered windshield and pulled Angel out. She should have worn her seatbelt. The figure slung Angel over its shoulder, she beat at its back as hard as should could but it did no good, it just hurt her fists. The figure leapt away with Angel into the night. “Damn you! Isaac!”

Angel gave up in her exhaustion. She knew that no matter her meak attempts, she was no match. She groaned as the figure's shoulder dug into her lower stomach. The pain was severe but she let herself fall limp against him.

"You're hurting me!" Angel she growled from her throat as she expieranced yet another surge of pain through her lower stomach.

She knew she was defeated. She sobbed to herself as she attempted to make her self in the least bit comfortable, but it was useless and she sighed as she felt a pained tear slide down her face.

:: Norman set a plate of baked potatoes down on the table next to the brocolli and some cheese. She wanted to test all her senses. Taste and smell were screaming in her brain 'MORE, DAMNIT MORE!' She threw some broccolli in the potato and poured some melty-cheese on top. Norman got up to get something and Roger dove for his water cause he burnt his mouth on the potato. She smiled a bit. THe site was comical. He downed his glass and Norman poured him another. Dorothy took some of her potato. Indeed, it was hot, but it did not burn her. thats one advantage she still had. Temperature. The temperature in the room was exactly 79.5 degrees farenheight. Warm... ::

:: Roger downed another glass of water and then downed her own. She couldn't help it. She laughed. She knew exactly how much pepper Norman put in that broccolli. Roger sighed. DAMN those where some hot vegetables. He glared at Dorothy as she took a large spoonful and popped it in her mouth and swallowed it without any problems...or burns. ::

"Perhaps you should finish my ice cream, Roger?"

Within the domes of Paradigm was a cathedral. The Glass Cathedral, home to the order to which Sister Bridget belonged. It was late, so very few people were in the cathedral, not that there were ever very many people except on Sundays.

Sister Bridget was busy checking all of the candles to make sure that they weren't in need of replacement. She sighed to herself. Bridget had wanted to be able to do something, but that last encounter with Meggido made her feel so helpless. Bridget looked around the halls, there wasn't a soul to be seen or heard. She began walking down a hall towards a room dedicated to an Angel, along the way it was lit only with black candles. This was the room dedicated to the Angel of Judgment, Armageddon, Cataclysm, Apocalypse, call him what you will. They knew the angel as Meggido.

Sister Bridget entered the room dedicated to the Angel of Judgment. She always hated this place. While the rest of the church was full of miracles, life, and wonder this room was filled with suffering, pain, and death. It gave her a chill. And what surprised her even more was the man praying at the feet of the statue dedicated to Meggido.

The man wore a black trench coat. For several seconds Bridget feared that this might be the human named Meggido. But it couldn't be, this man had his unruly hair tied back into a long ponytail. A gothic maybe?

Bridget cautiously drew nearer. The man finished mumbling what ever his prayer was and rose to leave. As he stood he looked at Sister Bridget. "Hello, Sister," he greeted her. "Hello," Bridget returned, making sure that she kept her composure. "You seem to be surprised that I was praying here," the man commented. "We don't usually have people praying to the Angel of Judgment," she responded. "Yes, I suppose that you wouldn't," he answered thoughtfully.

Bridget looked into the man's eyes. That was for certain not Meggido. Meggido's eyes were red, full of hatred for every living thing. This man's eyes were blue; they seemed to be full of sadness. "If you could, would you?" the man asked her. "If I could what?" Sister Bridget asked back. "If you could use the powers of Meggido, purge this city of Paradigm and those selfish people who live in the domes, would you?" he explained. Sister Bridget thought on that, "I don't know..." "I would," he stated plainly.

Bridget wondered about this man. What could cause him to hate enough to want to use the powers of Meggido? The man walked out of the room. He turned around and then stated, probably for the nun's benefit, "I'd make sure that all the innocent would be spared." Bridget silently said a prayer for the man to find peace.

Meanwhile

Angel was still being carried by her unknown captor through the city. The person had scaled up a fire escape not long ago and was now leaping from building to building. Angel let a small tear run down her cheek. Was this her fate? Was this strange person going to kill her? She wished that she had known, then she would have told Roger everything...

Suddenly they came to a stop. Her captor was obviously satisfied with his escape and dropped her to the floor. Angel rubbed her bottom and tried to stand up on her uneasy legs. "Why did you kidnap me? What are you doing?" she screamed. The figure turned its head so that she could she the face of the kidnapper, it was Isaac.

"I have questions," Isaac stated simply, "and you will answer them." "And what if I don't?" Angel yelled back. She knew quite well that Isaac could crush her, but she didn't care, not after all that had happened. "You will die," the android said, pulling out Angel's own pistol from his pocket. "Hmph, I don't care, I'm not going to answer the questions of some stupid android," Angel bluffed, "I don't care if I live or die, not now anyway." Isaac glared at her and pointed the gun directly at her heart. Angel did her best to look indignant. "I can tell from observations of you heart rate, breathing pattern, sweat production, and many other bodily functions, that there is a 99.72% probability that that statement was a bluff."

Angel was stunned. She gaped at the android. She slumped down to the roof of the building, taking on the look of a defeated animal. "Go ahead, ask away," she choked, closing her eyes to hold back tears.

She felt her stomach drop. Where it dropped to she didn't care. She put her hand to her heart and she found it was outrageously out of control. She had faced death many times before, but for some reason, this was an acception.

Oh hell, who was she kidding? Being faced with death never came with an acception. But why did she find her self giving in so easily? She had vowed that all answers were confidential to only herself.

The tears she had been desperately attempting to hide spilled forth, and she let the sobs rake through her body.

"I'm not afraid of you, and I want you to know that and not forget it. I'm afraid of my weapon you've turned against me, and the damage it could do. I'm afraid for your worthless self, and your lack of compassion. And don't feed me the line that you have no compassion, because of the fact your an android, I can see you're no more willing to kill me then I was of wanting death,"

Angel used the back of the wall to brace herself as she pushed herself to stand up. She met the burning artificial glare of Isaac and she let a whimper of nerves escape.

She attempted to walk towards Isaac with as much dignity and bravery as she could muster, but she had no idea if what she had said was true. Would he kill her? He probably would. She knew she had to stall, stall as long as she could. Each minute was precious. Each gave her more time to conjure up a plan of escape, or ...

She blushed violently at a thought, and pushed it to the back of her mind.

"That's insane," she muttered to herself, as she looked up at Isaac.
The Big Omega 08-20-2003 04:58 PM
Isaac glowered down on Angel. This woman was a nuisance. And, contrary to what she said, he was fully willing to kill her; it might even bring him what humans called pleasure.

Isaac observed Angel, she disgusted him. She was the epitome of everything that was wrong with humans. "You are wrong," he said. "I am fully capable of killing you, if it suits my purposes. And your fear for me is illogical." Angel looked up at him, she needed to think of something quick, but for now at least the android seemed to be satisfied with ranting at her past comments.

"Furthermore, this weapon should be the least of your worries," Isaac continued. With those words he dropped the gun to the ground and stepped on it, crushing the weapon like it was only a bug. "Your death will be far more painful if I am allowed to take care of it with only my hands." Angel began to sweat nervously; she had to think of something...

Isaac placed both of his hands around Angel's throat. "I will crush your throat in one minute," he stated. Angel began to worry, she needed to think of something and fast! "Fifty seconds." What should she do? What could she do? "Forty seconds." "I've got to do something! I can't die this way," she thought. "Thirty seconds." Air was getting short, she was gasping, she had to think! "Twenty seconds." Dots were starting to form in her vision, Isaac had to be serious... "Ten seconds."

Meanwhile

Deep under Paradigm city. The three professors observed a small, glowing, green tank. The tank was large enough to fit in a decent-sized dog inside. The black shape within it thrashed about wildly, slamming itself into the tank. "It is very strange that such a being was created during the resurrection of Big Omega." "Yes, but not unanticipated, after all, the biosystems would have to exert their force upon something." "Nevertheless, such an entity was never expected, it is a weapon within itself." "True, but we need not worry, this will only aid us." "Yes, shall we release it?" "No, the bio-mechanical entity shall only be released when we are ordered." "And of Nightengale?" "I have been observing it, we do not need to worry, it will be ready when the time comes." "And of Meggido?" "The fool remains ignorant." "Perfect..."
R_Dorothied 08-20-2003 05:57 PM
Her mind was panicking but she couldn't do anything. All that seemed possible wasn't logical. She felt herself begin to cry involuntarily. She had 10 seconds, and she could feel the color drain from her face. In
the mere few seconds she had left, she felt the stream of tears run down her face, and she concentrated on one as it fell from her cheek to Isaac's hand, that grasped her throat.

She closed her eyes, knowing the time was almost up.
She scrunched up her face, preparing for the pain, as another tear fell onto Isaac's mechanical hand.

And then the pressure was gone. Am I dead?, she thought wearily to herself, she slowly opened one eye, to see Isaac studying his hands angrily, profously with pain.

Isaac stared at his hands, they were burning in pain. But how could they? They were not damaged in any way, and it was impossible for that woman's tears to have done anything to his systems. And yet his hands burned in pain. Why? "What is it about you..." Isaac murmered.

Angel had pulled herself into a sitting postion, gasping for air. She was puzzled. Why were Isaac's hands in pain now? What had happened. Surely she hadn't done anything, other than cry at least. But surely there was no way that her tears could have harmed him. But somehow it seemed as though they had...

That woman...how could she have done this? What was it that had allowed her to do something such as this? It does not matter, for she will die. Isaac lunged to grab hold of Angel's neck once more, determined to end her life for sure this time. But the instant that he touched her skin his hands burned, even more painful than before! "It can't be..." he murmered, "There's no way that this should be happening..."

Angel backed away, crying now. Crying like she did when her mother died, crying like she did when her father died. It was out of sorrow, and not self pity for herself.

"Stop it! You're hurting yourself!!" Angel said, panic riding in her voice, giving in a shakey edge.

She put her hand to her chest as she attempted to control her breathing. Had she just been considerate? The damn android was about to kill her, and all she cared about was him hurting himself. She pressed harder against her chest, her breathing still rapid.

She brought her other hand to her face as she continued to sob with relief, relief that he hadn't managed to kill her, but still fear that he may be able to still.

She was able to gain slight self control and clasped her hands to her side as she walked nervously towards Isaac.

"Let me see your hands," She demanded, seeing the angered expression come across his face as he attempted to remove his hands from her view, "Damnit, man, if you're going to finish me off, let me have a look at your hands,"

She eyed him suspiciously and then said with compassion she had never expieranced before, "What happened?"

:: The sun peeked over the Smith mansion long before Dorothy woke up. Roger had been telling her that she needed sleep, but she insisted on staying up to enjoy her new features. She had experimented with pepper, she messed with her hair, which had started to grow like human hair did, she drove Roger insane with her nonstop whistling (while he was awake). Isaac hated this woman. Oh how he hated her. This woman had somehow found a way to damage him, and she was expressing concern! Even though he had tried to kill her twice already she expressed concern for him! Isaac hid his hands, refusing to suffer the indignity of allowing Angel to see what had happened.

“Come on! Show me your hands!” Angel persisted, “Why do you have to be so stubborn?” Isaac refused to allow her to see his hands. He would destroy this woman yet, but first he would need to find out how she had managed to harm him. How was it that by merely touching her skin he had suffered inscrutable agony? “You should concern yourself with your own fate! Do not meddle in my actions!” he shouted, attempting to get her to leave him alone.

It didn’t work, Angel was just as persistent. Isaac would have sighed if he could, he couldn’t threaten her to leave him alone now, he would have to show her his hands… Isaac turned around slowly and showed his hands to Angel. She gasped at what she saw.

The synthetic skin that covered Isaac’s body was burned and cracked on his hands, it looked as though he had put them into a fire. Angel cringed slightly at the sight and Isaac quickly replaced his hands behind his back. “How is it that just by touching you this happened?” he asked her. Angel was silent…

Meanwhile

The shape trashed in the tank, fighting to free itself. To be born! To live! To destroy! “Huh…? Yes, I understand, it is time to release the Spawn of Destruction…” A man pressed the button on the tank, the shape inside began to thrash even more wildly. “Yes, I am programming it now. Yes, that woman and Jefferson’s android will be the targets…” The glass of the tank slid open and the shape fell to the floor and twisted spasmodically. But then the creature sat up and it ran into the darkness…ready for the hunt…

Angel found herself fumbling with her hands, acting far more fascinated in them then she really was. She bit her bottom lip. Concentrating, she brought her gaze to meet the robotic of Isaac's. And she held it, though she felt her eyes straying away.

She sighed, as if she were about to begin saying something, but let her breath out slowly, licking her chapped lips. Out of habit, she reached to where her purse would normally have been, strap on her shoulder, it slung casually to her side. She cursed outwardly, obviously loud enough for Isaac to hear, and rubbed her lips with the curve of her thumb.

Why had only her petty tears affected him like that? She herself didn't even know. She put her hand to her stomach and looked again at Isaac.

"I don't know," She said after the prolonged silence that had made the tesnsion uncomfortable, "But for being an android," she paused, and looked Isaac up and down, in an un-ladylike fashion, almost seductive in an angry way, "For an android, you possess a lot of hatred. It could be unhealthy for someone like you, blow a circuit or something ..."

She closed her eyes in regret, knowing her snobby side had gotten the best of her, " ... sorry," she mumbled, hardly in-audible, but just loud enough for Isaac to catch wind of it.

Isaac couldn’t understand this woman. She was unfathomable, even to his vast knowledge. He could not explain why she expressed concern for him even though he had obviously tried to kill her. He did not understand why she was critiquing his actions right now. And most of all he didn’t understand how she had hurt him.

His hands, they burned when he tried to harm her. It made no sense to Isaac. There were plenty of people who he had interrogated in that fashion, the Paradigm spy for instance. So why was this Angel woman the exception?

She had apologized for saying that he was too angry. Why did she? It was the truth from her point of view after all. Besides, it wasn’t as though that could hurt his feelings of anything; he had no feelings that could be hurt. She had been much crueler to Dorothy, and she had been more human than he would ever be. There was something strange about this woman…

Why did she seem regretful of her scathing comment? Shouldn’t she hate him, he had after all tried to kill her. She should hate him, try to harm him. She could just touch him and then the same thing that had happened to his hands would happen to the rest of him. So why wouldn’t she?

Isaac was ripped from his thoughts by a loud noise. The android turned around to see the source of the noise…that source was hoisting itself up the side of the building. Its two powerful limbs pulled in up. Angel screamed…

It was at least as large as two full-grown men, its front limbs were long and gangly, and appearing to be a cross between arms and legs, each hand had three long fingers. The back legs were even longer and had a second knee-joint. The creature’s body was small in proportion to its limbs, and it appeared to be somewhat stretched over the bones. The head, if this monstrosity had one, must have been the blunt dome-like protrusion on the front of the main body. Its tail was long and thrashed irritably. It had no noticeable eyes and the entire body was cobalt blue. It let out a soft, clicking growl.

Isaac and the creature regarded each other for a second. And within an instant they charged at one another. The creature tried to crush Isaac with its claws, but he dodged them and kicked it hard in its side. The beast growled in pain and reared up on its hind legs, determined to the android. As it bore down on top of him Isaac extended his hands, and grasped the monster’s. The two began to grapple. Isaac’s brow was knit in concentration, the creature growled, both refused to budge an inch. The android pulled his mechanical strength to its limit, and hoisted the monster into the air. Before the creature realized what had happened Isaac hurled it down to the city streets.

The beast growled loudly and in response Isaac leapt off of the building. Landing on the streets (and leaving a small crater by the way) he charged to take on the creature. Angel ran over to the edge of the building. Looking off of the edge she could see Isaac fighting the beast. He was quickly dodging its swiping claws, searching for the opportunity to attack. Angel wished that she had her gun right now.

The creature roared angrily as Isaac delivered a punishing blow to its ‘head’ and jumped off before its swiping claws could strike him. The beast roared again and grabbed a nearby car before hurling it straight at Isaac. The android nimbly dodged the flying automobile. But the monster had been counting on this, it seemed, because the moment afterwards, a sharp tendril flew straight out of its back and impaled Isaac. The tendril retracted directly back into the creature’s body. Isaac fell to the ground like a limp rag doll.

“NO!” screamed Angel. The monster turned its attention from Isaac to her. It squatted on its legs and leapt up, landing on the roof of the building. It growled and turned its head straight towards her. Angel began to stumble backwards. The beast roared and began to charge, but suddenly it stopped. The creature began to roar in pain and tugged forward, trying to resist something. Before Angel could realize what was happening the beast was tugged down off of the building.

Isaac glared at the monster triumphantly. The beast reared back up and charged at him, its mouth opened impossibly wide. Isaac dove forward as it charged getting under the beast, where he kicked it upwards. The creature roared angrily and thrashed its tail, smashing Isaac straight into a wall. The beast roared again, this time triumphantly as the building that it had smashed Isaac into began to collapse. It squatted its legs once more and leapt back up to the roof where Angel was.

Angel shrieked. Monster opened its mouth wide and charged straight at her. She tried to run but her legs refused to move. She was done for…Angel shut her eyes tight…

The beast roared in pain and frustration. Angel opened her eyes slightly and saw that Isaac had gotten in between her and the monster and was right now holding its jaws open with his hands. Isaac pulled very hard, the beast roared in agony as its lower jaw was ripped right off. Isaac cast the jaw away like garbage. The beast managed to garble out a shriek from its throat as it fell down, dead.

Angel stared at Isaac in a mixture of wonder and awe, “Th-thank you.” Isaac was about to respond but he was cut off, “Isaac! Behind you!” As Isaac turned around he saw the beast rear up to its hind legs and its chest opened, revealing a second mouth.

Before he could react the monster bit Isaac with its extra mouth. Deep into his shoulder, enveloping his arm. The android struggled as hard as he could, trying to remove his arm from the beast’s maw. But as it fell forward that seemed to be unlikely. Isaac felt a terrible pain in this right shoulder. His arm had been ripped off. The beast reared up again, and took advantage of Isaac’s few stunned seconds to bite into his left arm the same way it had done to the right. “I will not let you win!” he shouted.

Angel stared in horror. That monster had bitten off Isaac’s right arm, and now it was trying to do the same to his left! Angel felt so helpless, there wasn’t a thing that she could do. “I will not let you win!” Isaac yelled defiantly. It seemed as though this was all that was needed, the very moment afterward their utterance the beast began to roar in pain. Angel was amazed to see Isaac’s hand rip right out of its back.

Isaac extracted his arm from the monster’s maw as it fell to the ground, dead for certain this time. Angel saw that in his left had was the right arm that was ripped off. He must have used it to pierce the back of that creature. The monster let out a painful cry as it died.

Isaac stumbled backwards. His systems were extremely weak, he wasn’t sure if he could last. The android slowly slumped to the ground… “Isaac!”

:: Roger had fun gloating, sniggering, and imitating himself that morning. Dorothy woke up angrily, but remembered her last thought the night before. She owed Isaac...BIG TIME! She got herself ready for the day and decided on her plan. ::

:: She filled a discarded hangbag with a few things. If Angel could have one, why couldn't she? She slipped on her coat, and leaned out the front door. ::

"Roger, I'm going to borrow your car. I'll be back by dinner."

:: Roger spit his coffee all over his paper. Dorothy had expected that, so she took off running. She still had her speed. She was already unlocking the door when Roger came running down the front steps. ::

:: She adjusted the mirrors. She didn't know how to drive, but she seen Roger do it countless times. D was for drive, right? She stepped on the brake, shifted into drive, and took off right as Roger came within inches of opening the door. ::

:: Driving was great! Besides Roger screaming 'Damnit Dorothy!' behind her, it was going to be great. ::

:: By lunch time, she had front-ended someone, got hit on the passenger side, and nearly gotten knocked out when she hit the brakes to hard. She was going to get a gift for Isaac no matter how much damage the car or herself acquired. She wanted to stop to get some lunch. If she wanted to do that, she had better hurry. She put the petal to the metal. It went great for about 10 minutes until some blue and red flashing lights seemed to be following her. Finally, the words 'Pull your vehicle over' sounded from one of them. Dorothy did her best to park the car at the side of the road, and she failed miserably, this time denting the entire front end. ::

"Ma'am, do you know how fast you were going?" The officer asked.

"Exactly 67.25 miles per hour." Dorothy answered.

"Did you know that the speed limit is 30 Miles an hour?" He asked.

"I was unaware of that fact." She answered.

"Can I see your license and registration please?" He asked.

"This is not my car and I do not have a license or a registration." She answered.

"How long have you been with car?" He asked.

"I acquired it exactly four hours and fifty-three minutes ago." Dorothy answered.

"I'll have to ask you to step out of the car and come with me."

:: Within minutes, Dorothy found herself in the back of a police car, confused and in handcuffs. Rogers car was behind them on a tow truck. Whether or not Roger would forgive this one, she didn't know. He wasn't expecting her back until dinner, so she figured she was in for a nice two day stay. ::

((( ATTENTION RPers! )))

((( I really hate to do this...our Roger has left temporarily and told me to break my own damn self 'out of prison and have a semi-romantic moment walking home because the Griffin is odviously not an option.'
(I replied: The other roleplayers would hate me...on second thought, sure. No problem) He's not gone, just screwed up the posting schedule a little bit. ANGEL , you get Isaac. Unless someone else wants em, I get Norman and Sister Bridget as well. HEY VILLIANS! Keep it up and get a little more active in this. )))

:: This was lovely. This was just great! The police had explained to her why she was there, butfor some reason, she still thought it was unfair. Well, forget thinking. She had to get out of there...and she still owed Roger a car...and several other people for that matter. She ruined about seven total and dented about 50. She fell asleep out of exhaustion. ::

:: Her eyes sprung open at about 3:45. About every few seconds, she heard a hissing noise from the window. Something was there. Dorothy didn't care. She wanted to sleep. She didn't care until whatever was hissing spoke her name. 'Dorothy! Wake up! Dorothy! Man, your worse than me! Get up!' ::

:: It was Roger. ::

"Roger! Get me out of here!"

:: Roughly a half hour later, Dorothy thrust herself up to the windowsill and Roger was leaning against the building. ::

"What are we going to do about getting home?" Doroothy asked. "You have no more car. I ruined it." She looked a little depressed.

"Hey. Dont worry. Dastun said the police fixes them up. We'll get it back at the police auction. And quit feeling bad. All we do it keep you indoors for a while. Why were you out anyway?" They started walking.

"I went to get a present for you and Isaac. I owe both of you a life debt." Dorothy said.

"You wanna know how you can start paying yours off?"

"How?"

"Stay with me next time. If you want to go somewhere, tell me, and we'll go."

:: They walked home, unlocked the door, and walked in at 5:00. Norman was still asleep even. ::
