BECAUSE somewhere, sometime, you get something gratifyting out of this!!

Somedays, I really hate the idea of work, espeically since there has been a lot of tension between my boss, the staff, and the board. And then the people can tick us off (because what we do is NEVER enough! ) but other times we make their day . And my job is def. the career I'm going to college for and I wouldn't give it up. So, as I was saying, you get some gratification out of doing this...or you wouldn't put up with us (espeically me and my rantings ).

SO TO THE REST OF YOU: Let them be the Omnipresent entity that they are. They are the admins. We don't need to know EVERY BLASTED detail of their life, like where they live and who exactly they are. We just need to respect them and be glad that they are here! They have a lot of sh** they have to sort through from the members up to the mods and (esp. right now, from the little I understand) asking them for personal information is DEF. not a good idea. They have their own lives and like everyone else, you're going to possibly learn about it through their posts. They have cats (if I remember rightly), they love Big O as much as we do (they started a site for us other crazy fans to keep us up to date!), and they're brothers (HA! AWESOME! You guys met my brother right?).

So, can we respect their wish for privacy? They'll tell us what they want us to know, just like I do and like others do. If they want their life to be an open book, they'll share it. If they want to keep to themselves, they can do that too. That's all their asking is just for respect, like we all want.

In conclusion, Krang and Shredder must enjoy something in order to put up with all of us and to continue to come back. The least we can do is respect them and their wish to keep to themselves.

And now, the ships song on the Lord of the Rings Return of the King soundtrack is on. That seems fitting .

Thank you, Pen. ) This is exactly what I've been trying to say since this thread started. As Pen said, you can find out a lot about people from what they post without having to put them on the spot with threads like these. If you read our posts you'd know things such as that we both love anime (including Big O and One Piece, among others), video games, and are interested in Japanese culture, while Krang's the resident computer person/webmaster/Bemani games guru and I'm the one with the cats ) who reads fanfics, urban legends, and listens to classic rock (all of this among other things, of course). I think Krang pointed out that our interests are what's relevant to post about. If I ever felt like posting someone more personal, I would if the situation came up, although with some of the responses this topic has gotten, now I'm not so sure how much of a "family" this place is anymore. It's a shame some people are so immature that you can't have something silly like a "Best Duo" award in your signature just for fun without people thinking weird things about you. Sad.
