I don't watch alot of Inuyasha, but of what I've seen I think that Shessomaru (Sp?) character is pretty cool, he reminds me of Viscous. I like the dog ears though, nice touch.

BTW: I have an Inuyasha Avatar that I made a while back if theres a fan interested it, just feel free to take it (Sorry for putting it in the wrong forum, I just don't think anyone would care if it were in the other one)

i love you maji. hey! i thought you left. ill take the inu-yasha avatar. its spelled Sesshomaru. you were close, though.
Travis Bickle 01-12-2004 06:11 PM
Sesshomaru is the greatest! He doesn't seem to be completly evil, though. (With that little girl, whatever her name is)
Crystalline 01-12-2004 06:15 PM
EE, Inu-Yasha is one of my favourite animes! I'm a huge Sesshoumaru fangirl (I see it spelled with and without the middle "u", the extra "u" is closer to the Japanese spelling I think, but I don't know for sure), he's such a puppy!!!

I wish stupid cartoon network would buy some of the other 4 or more seasons of the show instead of playing the same two over and over! I love the show but wanna know what happens!!! >_<

In the meantime, I'll make some more Fluffy wallpapers. ^_^ He's so cute to look at while I do my daily routine on my puter!

He lost it when Inu first used Tetsaiga properly. He hacked off Sess's left front leg while in demon form which translates into Sess in his human form missing his left arm.

i know that. i just never realized what happend.

This run of Inu-Yasha on CN is the first time I've really made an effort to record and watch each episode. I'm liking it a LOT more now that I've seen it from the beginning.

Much like Big O and other animes, I like a lot of the supporting characters like Miroku and Sango, probably more than Inu-Yasha and Kagome. I'm not a fan of Koga, the wolf-demon - mainly because he and his wolf-pack have killed innocent villagers and they still portray him as sort-of-a-good-guy.

Even though this is a LONG series (unlimited?), the stories seem fresh and true to the characters, while still expanding on the story and delving deeper into the characters.

I'm looking forward to seeing the new episodes (whenever they broadcast them).

At the same time, I still think some people take Inu-Yasha WAY too seriously - especially the fans who made such a stink when Big O first took its place (which were RE-RUNS!!!) leading up to season 2.

Hey, cool! I think I'll use that. Anyway, Inu Yasha is such a great series. Sesshoumaru is awesome! Check out this drawing I found of him and Rin: http://www.zeppelinrules.org/cute.jpg

AHHH he's too cute!

The missing left arm makes for some good sub-plots, sometimes.

spoiler (highlight to read):
Like when he uses a human arm with a Shikon shard to steal Tetsusaiga (you know, the arm that Naraku gave him) or when he used a dragon Youkai's arm to try to destroy the Tetsusaiga. Man, he really wants that sword. O.o

They're probably waiting until more seasons are dubbed, and then the dvds will probably go out first for increased sales.

Also, if they ever do start running movies on saturdays, I'd be really suprised if they didnt show some of the movies.

...Rin always annoyed me, sesshoumaru was a pretty badass villain, but then suddenly theres some obligatory "he's not bad, he just likes to emotionlessly wipe out waves of enemies" moment,,and....yeah.

Are there going to be newer episodes soon? With this run I'm finally all caught up with the series to the point I had started watching.

This show has been around for years, and in dubbed form too. I remember catching a glimpse of episode 4 when surfing channels a few years ago but wasn't interesting enough to keep watching. It wasn't until I saw the entire first season that I realized this had been around for some time.

I dont know...Im not bashing InuYasha...but for some reason I couldnt get interested in it. Sesshomaru is the only character I find the least bit intriguing...and I cant seem to remember the name of the guy who wore blue and was a wizard of some sort. But other than that...I couldnt get too interested in it. (Not meant as bashing...just an honest opinion...)
C.R Foxhound 01-13-2004 11:44 AM
i like inuyasha

were practically related Big Grin

how many eps did they make of my cousin and his woman?

1000?

1,000,000?

geez, will they find all the shards?
StevieV019 01-13-2004 12:17 PM
guess Ill have to check it out...Foxhound, bro...what did/do you prefer or can you even compare them....Samurai X/Rurouni Kenshin or InuYasha? (I know..obvious comparison attempt on my part...Ive heard these two have been compared all the time...)
C.R Foxhound 01-13-2004 03:17 PM
i like samurai x over inuyasha

although

I saw samurai x before Kenshin, and i got the idea that it was a dead serious anime, so when i heard toonami was gonna show it, i was like" WTF? they're gonna have to censor the hell outta it"

boy was i surprised when i finally saw Kenshin, then i found out about it, but because i saw the movie first, it kinda turned me off, cuz i thought it was serious
StevieV019 01-13-2004 04:02 PM
I saw the movies first...Samurai X...but I still have been able to enjoy Kenshin...I mean there is some light heartedness and comedy...but when the fights begin it gets pretty serious...not as dark and serious as Samurai X...but you can still see the influence.
C.R Foxhound 01-13-2004 04:12 PM
yea, i guess i just need to hunker down and watch it

and besides, you can never have too much anime Big Grin
Raven 01-14-2004 12:10 AM
I like Inuyasha but I am getting sick and tired of this Naraku guy. He's so lame and boring. Whats so intimidating about some guy in a monkey costume anyways? Sesshoumaru is pretty cool though
Seraphim 01-14-2004 12:30 AM
I think Naraku is pretty cool, especially in the later episodes. I've seen everything up to about Episode 128 with a few holes in between, and they're all GREAT. ^______________^ This is such an awesome show.
