I found something that is neither funny nor a picture, but rather frickin' awesome and a video. It's in-game footage from Super Robot Wars MX, a PS2 game, and it shows the Sekiha Love Love Tenkyoken, complete with the soundtrack and japanese VAs.
This might be a spoiler to those who haven't seen any of the last four eps of G Gundam.
Bakunetsu God Finger Sekiha Love Love Tenkyoken! |
O_O OMG! lol...
Now that was fricking cool. |
Than you might like this too. |
Wow, that site has a lot of Super Robot Wars clips. I really wish they'd sell SRW in America. I have A, D, and R for the game boy advance but these Playsation games seem sooo much better!
As not to get off topic *rumages through folders*...

What? they used the Devil Gundam instead of Grand Master Gundam. What's up with that? I realise that it is possible to blow that damn thing up several times before it gives up the ghost, but they could at least get the right mech in the approperate scene.

I checked up and down their archive. Alas, no Big O material at all.
I did find however the
Laughing man logo.
Also from an unknown anime, a generic pic that works in any enviroment.

Finally, and god forbid this ever happen,
If Disney got their hands on Gundam.

Miko! Cute little animation! The moving ears remind me a bit of the Mickey-satellite that makes a cameo in
The Wizard of Speed and Time by Mike Jittlov.

I checked an FAQ, apparently the game took place after the series. Keep in mind that when you throw twenty shows together, things like that happen.

Big O has only been in Super Robot Wars D, a GBA game, so footage wouldn't look as good. There was one Big O 4koma that I posted in the Big O pictures thread, but you wouldn't get it unless you've already played a SRW game of watched old Robot anime from the seventies. If they do put Big O in another game, they better make Schwarzald and Big Duo recruitable.
Anyway, this 4koma takes place during level... 17, I think, if you chose to accompany Domon to the Guiana Highlands in SRA. The guy you probably won't recognize is Kazuya Ryuzaki, pilot of the super robot
Daimos. He and Domon have a kind of rivalry in the game, so he tags along. If you go to Guiana, I believe he gets his best attack. Anyway...

Ive always found this pic from the second volume of the NGE manga to be pretty funny:

Kohta Hirano's a big Gundam fan, so he included a bit of fanart. The back of the first volume has a "Self Portrait-as-Zakarello" and a list including is favorite Space Fortress (A'bao'que), and favorite Gundam character (Haman Karn), and states a desire to be said character's father.
There's more than just that, as well. Minor Vol. 5 spoiler ahead.
| spoiler (highlight to read): |
| in Volume 5, there's a scene where one of the Millennium SS officers leaps from a Zepplin in much the same pose, with a similar weapons layout (minus beam rifle) as the Gundam going into the Battle of A'bao'que. |

He wants to be Haman's daddy?!?! That isn't as appealing a position as one might think. Although in said postition he could influence Haman is such a way that she does not turn into the devil bitch we see her become.

Plus if Rain is refering to what I think she is refering to, then she has gone through plenty more than the other couples she mentions, and came away with her man carrying her off into the sunset, er.. earthset, on a horse.
