dang... Leviathan just aired 22 minutes ago. it was pretty good. i see it as the official "farewell" to Schwarzwald. seeing how we got flashbacks from all of his act's. and he got a lot of monologue space. man.... it kinda blows to see such a good character get killed off. i wonder, what was Norman doing? i mean, he went down the oven, now what?

R.Dorothy was the one who was piloting Big O, not Norman, so wtf was he doing?!?

btw, i fail to see Big Fau's head in Carnot.

Again, sorry if this has been brought up before, but I noticed this last night in a sleepily gaze at the TV...

Leviathan has a 17 on it's chest. Any idea if there's some sort of signifigance there or is it merely something the animators put in for "decoration?" Perhaps it could be tied into Chapter 17 of Hobbes' Leviathan?


Just throwing some ideas out there....

As SmoothPocket said, a number in that ballpark seems to indicate that there used to be a lot of robots similar to Leviathan; it was part of a production run, not a one-off design.

The specific number "17" was probably chosen because it was Act 17. Sometimes the animators are annoyingly cute about things like that.

I do believe you just explained it! Maybe if I was paying closer attention I would have realized that It was something that just struck me as odd, as I had never noticed it before!

phew! just watched "eyewitness" (poor Phil) and i have to say that it isn't as bad as people say it is.although the megadeus fight blowed. but i have questions: what was the purpose of the android detective? why did angel and roger go to the beach shore? was alex and/or alan connected to the killings?

EDIT: saw Stripes today. pretty good, except i find it ridiculous the Gryphon goes into the foot of Big O. but w/e. it's a cartoon it can pass. why did Big O stop, i think it's cuz Roger was freak'in out about his past. also, why did Angel question Roger at the beach, i say that she should've stopped her bitch'in and just kiss, gosh she is so picky. nice megadeus fight, i like the resiliance of Bonaparte. also, the Union part was a little half done, didn't really explain it, so it seems forced, i'll see in the next act if it'll get better.

Yah the robot detective caught me off guard it was liek WTF where did he come from?

The purpose of Eyewitness is to show how all the androids, with memories that could possibly activate Megadei (like Dorothy's), are destroyed.

I want to discuss an interesting thing in Act 24:The End precisely


In the end of this episode we see dastun saw a poster of "Winter Night Phantom" and the stars are him and Sybil Rowan, then Angel enters in a "studio" representing his house when she was a child. Crazy, huh ? I think that the memory inside Angel is waking up. And the memory inside peoples become true. But another weird thing is, what the hell are those planes flying to Paradigm ! Do they come to destroy the city ? And what do they become in Act 26 ? Erasing by The Big Venus ? Destroy by the bombs of The Big Fau ?

There was a thread about this earlier.

I think the conclusion they came to was that the planes were merely illusions meant to throw you off.

Or maybe they were the dome lights that had shined dimly through the clouds?

In any case, there were never any Union planes.
