Aside from avoiding masses of posters/over zelous fanboys/girls flocking to them and mod patrol and other related duties, I don't see the piont of ghosting at all.

I go onto my computer to listen to music while I'm doing homework...and people bg me sometimes if the see me just looking at one thread which I really wanted to check up on during a tiny 30 second break........ ~~ ........I like to be a little private while doing homework -_-;;;;

I do like to see myself around the forums...but recent events have forced me to use Ghost mode. (for the time being at least)

I've found a rather easy way to detect a ghost (the only problem is finding the member X_x)

if you're veiwing a member profile and they're "ghosting", the "last active" thing will say "no declaration".

if not, it appears as normal.

has anyone else noticed this?

I'm reviving this thread because a new wave of people are ghosting. Right at this very moment, there are 4 ghosts browsing the fora.

actually the plural is FORUM. But since we are living in ENGLISH...it's FORUMS

Ok, I ghost now I can watch the whos online thing like a HAWK just if i post something and someone is gonna reply in the same topic I want a warning so I watch it and I ghost because it would probably be creepy to see it say that im at who is where online all the time.
