That where we found the ORIGINAL real life painting that inspired Schwarzwald's flyers. ...old news...

They did a nice job with the modifications. The stars are replaced with blobs of light that are vaguely reminiscent of rows of stage lights receding into the distance. The cliffs are replaced with a row of buildings, bringing Paradigm into the picture. The heavenly host is reduced to God and two angels -- the irrelevant longbeards are gone. God no longer looks like a sissy, but is strong and resolute. The angels are better integrated with God and seem almost to be a part of him. The cross-hatching (which wouldn't show up on TV anyway) has been replaced with shading.

its actually based on the book of job. God does not destroy either of them, they destroy each other.

Maybe Big Duo is supposed to represent Gabriel, and that's why Alan Gabriel ends up with it.

did u notice that god is pointing to the bohemath? i think that venus is supposed to be god and is pointing to bohemath who is supposed to be big . i think that venus/god is pointing to the victor of the fight between big fau and big o. makes since but still nothing can be proven.

I, for one, was acquainted with this artwork before I saw the second season of Big O, and recognized it immediately (it was a fascinating work-- not one you easily forget). It impressed me that the writers would take the time to integrate a rather obscure but wonderful piece of art into the series.

I never gave thought that they would have actuallt put a real painting there. Curse my non-cultural self!!!
