Mystery of Swartzwald

Big X 12-09-2003 08:53 PM
Schwarzwald was one of those guys who had good intentions but he just went down the wrong path. Had he some help he might've turned into an ally of Roger Smith and pilot Big Duo Inferno, as well as help defeat Big Fau.

Also Schwarzwald must've been human. In "Leviathan" Angel stated that his body was found so he had died. She would've mentioned if he was an android or not.

Schwarzwald is definitely a human. How did it come up that he was an android? Androids can't be burnt which Schwarzwald is...twice. In episode 1 Dorothy survives a bazooka blast by Beck's henchmen. How would you explain that he is an android if he get's burnt and starts screaming in pain and Dorothy is blown up by a rocket and all that happens is her hair gets messed up.
Big X 12-09-2003 10:05 PM
I can't explain it either.

I'm pretty sure if the rocket had hit her head on she'd have been toast. It just hit something to the side of her and she was caught in the residual blast. Besides, considering that she appears damaged when Alan shoots her in the leg in Act 20 and that Roscoe, who seems very similar, was easily killed by a regular shot to the head, I don't think androids are that durable.

That said, I don't think Schwartzwald is an android either. From what we see of his burns, they look more like scar tissue then melted metal.

But Alan has the golden gun. Everyone who's played a James Bond game knows the golden gun is an automatic one hit kill. Tongue

Big Mo is correct. The loose anroid in episode fifteen took multiple shots to destroy, not even a shot to the head finished it off. Alan's gun however...is different. Its easily capable of destroying an android's "skin" like cheap plastic. Yet when he shot Vera she was only wounded instead of killed. Must be some sort of "anti-android" gun.

Yeah about the Dorothy being shot and beat by Alan Gabriel it just Mind Boggled me why the Hell did Dorothy didn't something about that situation she could've defended herself but she didn't she still kept on walking like if she's going to get Groceries for Norman . Dam that's messed up , but about Swartzwald being an Android , you guy's are right , he is Human . I mean how in the hell an Android would feel pain that's ridiculous .

There's a mystery that is never addressed ... what is the fate of Mrs. Seebach and her child? Do they know what Michael Seebach became? Do they think he just ran off? Or did they believe he died when he disappeared?

And did Baby Seebach inherit his/her father's cone-shaped head?

I think that Swartzwald killed them. In his warped mind, they were Paradigm agents that were spying on him.

He also couldn't become Swartzwald without eliminating all connections to Michael Seebach.

Nope, doesn't wash. Then he would be on the Military Police's lists as a murderer. And remember that Paradigm Group tried to pay Seebach his severance fee through Roger. Roger would never have accepted a job that required negotiation with a wanted murderer without telling the cops.

I wonder if Micheal's kid (son was it?) would continue his father's legacy if he was informed of it....

i have an interesting connection to make. In the latest issue of the big o manga there is an act where this little girl tells people about their past
and she tells one women that her husband was in a horrible fire. Could it have been Schwarzwald?

I could look through it again, but didn't the girl only tell people about their distant pasts? As in, pre-40 years ago? Mike Seebach's burning was only a few months before Schwarzwald appeared. I'm not saying it's impossible, and Ariga might really have been trying to make that connection with the passage, but somehow I doubt it.

Yes but Dastun told Roger that Seebach had a wife. So...it might have been...Mrs Schwarzwald O_o;;;
Tickle Tickle 02-14-2004 08:29 PM
Umm, since she was married to Mr. Seebach wouldn't it be 'Mrs. Seebach'? Not Mrs. Schwarzwald...
