Looks like I should have picked up the pace on my Act 4 pans
! I'm about half way done, but I haven't done more for a few days. Meh, I guess I'll just omit those two that you've done.
I had also planned on getting them done this weekend and starting on Act 5 (and going through the rest of the series up to 26, either redoing low quality ones, or those that were missed) , but hey if you'd like to go ahead and do them, I don't have a problem with that. I'll probably make mine own, just because I like to do so.
|
LOL! Thanks for the compliment, R.Smith. I'll continue making pans for the first season. Perhaps I could also find a pan that you may have missed (and vice versa), which is why it's good that two people are working on the same pans.
| quote: |
Btw, Trisa, how long do you spend on each pan? I average at least an hour (or two/three) for the really hard ones, but for the simplier ones maybe a 1/2 hour.
I've got to make it look perfect, before I post it up.
I recall Evan telling me at the cookout, he only spends 10 to 15 minutes on his. |
It depends on the pans, really. For example, the first image I posted here took about an hour, because of the way the pan moves. As soon as I figured out the secret to making that image work, it only took about 15 minutes to complete. And yes, I tend to make mine perfect as well (for my eyes, at least), which means also messing with the color change and other stuff. If a pan is really easy, though, it may take from 10-30 minutes depending on the pan. So far, pans from FMA, Azumanga Daioh, and Sister Princess have been the easiest for me to make.
See you,
Trisa |

I am looking forward to seeing what other pans you have up your sleeve Trisa!
I'll be the first one to admit that yes, I do go overboard with the editing of the pans so they look good.... no great, but what can I say, I have high standards for my work.
I don't know if its just me, but I see these as well as any pan from any anime, and whatever else you do that you have to work hard on that you present for others to view, and enjoy, as something that represents you and the level of commitment you are willing to give so that they are as much fun to look at as they are to make.
*and that folks is why R.Smith spends so much time on each one*
I'm glad to see that this thread will thrive again thanks to our efforts.

Wow, Trisa!
I'm starting to think I should just move on to Act 5.
Really stupendous job on them all!
*But, here are two that I think you over looked

I apologize for the double post.
I've been working on this pan for a day or so.
Act 21, The Third Big.
*click on the thumbs*
*yes Evan, I
know you did this one
before, I just think there's a
small difference in quality

*
Oh, and Trisa I think I'm just going to go ahead to Act 5, you seem to have Act 4 well underway.

But, if you need any help with one, or if I notice you forgot one, if you don't mind I'd help, or make the one you missed.
Oh...for everyone, I'm painfully aware that my pans aren't working, and I will try to reupload all of them, for I think the
fourth time.

So it would seem. Thanks for catching those two, R.Smith. Right now, there is only one from Act 4 that is giving me a lot of trouble due to color change. If I somehow can't fix them, I'll leave those to you.

Nice job on those pans, by the way (including the most recent ones).

Thanks. I'll let you know if I need help with the one pan I've mentioned above. Since you'll look into Act 5, I'll start looking into Act 6 once I find all the Act 4 pans.
Sorry about the lack of Big O pans today. I haven't had much time looking. Expect some from Act 4, and maybe some from Act 6 as well tomorrow.
Here's one I just did. This was one of the pans I was having trouble with. Once I found out how to fix this, it was pretty easy from there. I'm still having trouble with the other one right now...

I felt like having a go at a panoramic picture after seeing all the excellent work done so far. After checking, I don't think this scene has been done before.
This is my first attempt at making one of these so be nice!
To me, the join line just screams its location no matter how much blurring/sharpening/dodging/burning I do in Photoshop. Practice makes perfect though I guess!

Of course, now some one is just going to have to use that for a christmas photo-manip. Very well done, even with the obvious line
