Then I'll delete that pan I just posted. I've been working on lots of Sailor Moon pans.

And the second pan
ok you are probably wondering why the reflection in the water is different...well I wasn't able to cathc a shot of the frame with Big O standing like like...it was too blurry for some reason. So I had to go with the next frame insted

I think the pans are getting better everyone! Really impressive. I can't watch Big O without looking for potentional pans to do.

)
Now that I can make grabs from my Season 1 DVDs... I might have to do some of the other ones I'm noticed.
Side Note: Wish I had the new PhotoShop CS. It's supposed to make pans easier to do. My friend's husband just left Apple (bummer!) to work at Adobe (Yippie!). That means I can use his discount! I'll tell you guys if it works when I get it.

Shut up R.Smith

You took my damn pics.
I talked to you earlier about posting those. I had already made the Times Sq. one!!
Wow, these are fantastic, I love the Dorothy ones (who doesn't? More Dorothy is always a good thing).
I really want WinDVD 5, unfortunately it's 50 bucks at Best Buy and I'm cheap. I still might get it one of these days. I used Fireworks to put a few panoramic pics together. I wish I was more interested in digital art and the such so I could justify buying to student version of Photoshop. My only hope is that one day one of my dad's clients will buy a version of Photoshop I can snag. Fireworks sharpen tool is of caveman quality but all and all it's okay.
My Paradigm Lost DVD won't work in my DVD-ROM (it is SO going back to the store) which is really ticking me off. At least I've got the WinTV card. I'm having to run all my caps taken with the WinTV card through Fireworks so the picture's quality is a bit off.
Mine's rather basic, but oh well. I'm really impressed with what some of you have managed to do.

Actually that's very good Dork

That's good for a first go at panorama pics
Thanks, but I'm pretty sure it's not my first. Though I can't quite remember having done any other particular image before. I knew enough to beware of the tv station logo (which wasn't an issue there) and to wait to recolor the image until after I'd gotten it together. I really can't remember another one of these I've done. Odd.
There were a few scenes in Babylon 5 where either Delenn or Sheridan didn't look right so I went in did some selective snips and came up with a composite image. Those are far more difficult than this.
I've got another one! Balloon Lady! Pretty good quality for something captured off DVD+RW.

| wait, what IS panorama?? |
According to my crappy-ass electronic dictionary it's:
pan-ora-ma
1. a picture unrolled before one's eyes
2. a complete view in every direction
basically we're just taking a complete image that was shown in a pan across the tv screen in one picture.

Dork (I wish not to call you that), your panoramas rock. I have taken excellent care to capture the colors and scene perfectly. I love them. Keep it up.
Kudos!
Thanks guys.
Guh, taking screen caps never fails to annoy me. I know this next one has already been done but I like the smoking gun. Angel looks so satisfied. Nothing quite like showing off for the guy you have a thing for by saving his pathedic ass from an andriod who looks stirking like your competition. I bet that feels good.
I pulled out my Paradigm Lost DVD when I went to rework the colors on this pic and I just want to smash something. No matter how hard I try I cannot get the colors anywhere near close to the original. I've tired for years, it's almost like it's impossible. I know a girl who's made close to perfect Farscape Screencaps. Of course she does have PowerDVD 5 and Photoshop. You can do just about anything with PowerDVD 5 and Photoshop. You could probably start your own flegling nation with PowerDVD and Photoshop.
I'm giving myself a headache. I am so anal.
Anywho, the smoking version of the angel with gun pic:
