I've been reading this and the previous acts on and off all day, and I must say, they're excellent! The characterization is very well done and your plot has me eager to see what's going to happen next. Smile ) I especially love how you've portrayed Angel-- I'm warming up to the idea of her and Dastun together. It'd be good for them. I can't wait for the next installment! Pleased

Most impressive, A Clockwork Tomato. I've been reading your Season 3 and I've been impressed from the start. I look forward to the next installment. Keep up the good work! Smile

Wow, I wonder what happened to Beck? Did his Dominus memories come back full-force?

And what role is the other R. Dorothy supposed to play?

Great work, A Clockwork Tomato.

very awesome, I can't wait to see where you take it next! These fanfics are the highlight of my week! Much like Big O was on Sundays. Great job on continuing the series!

** Bowing before A Clockwork Tomato **

Dude, I don't have words to describe how good this story is. Good stuff, man. Good stuff. One thing, I like your new character: Tony, I believe his name is. I can relate to him Smile

Keep it up! I want more. Two R. Dorothy's? Double the pleasure, triple the fun. Smile

P.S. How did you know that I play pool. Tongue

I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you.

But I can give you hints. Beck has always been drawn to anything resembling a Megadeus, so we can guess that he's predisposed to this sort of thing. Whether this is a matter of "memories" or not is open to argument. One theory is that Roger's visions aren't even his, but come from Big O. They are certainly more intrusive when he's in the cockpit than at other times.

The other R. Dorothy will play the role she chooses to play, which I can predict with confidence will not be the role that other people assign to her.

Glad you liked it. (I was afraid it might not have enough Beck in it for you Pleased ) You'll find out lots and lots and lots about Dori in Act 30.

There's nothing to do at the Speakeasy except talking, drinking, and playing pool. Presumably, you learned to play pool specifically so you could be in this scene.

(And thanks to everyone I didn't quote for their kind words.)

I'd say master deciever rather than master criminal. Unless deception itself is a crime. I agree that the nightmares Roger had would come from Big O. The imagery in the series suggests that the POV is not Roger's, therefore the next logical choice must be Big O.

I am now thouroughy intregued by all of this. I am really pleased that you got rid of those two cronies that Beck always worked with. And it is now clear the Beck is takeing a new direction with his life. What that is I can not determine at this time.

Also you keep refering to Big O's cromebuster. If you read the robot features on Bif O, you will notice that the eye lasers are the more approperate weapon to use in the situations you discribed in this act. The cromebuster is a high energy beam cannon, the eye lasers can be used in many different ways and do not require the fireing sequence that the cromebuster does. Eye lasers were featured on all 3 of the bigs, but each had a different speciality weapon as well, Fau the rotating beam guns, Duo the heavy missles in the legs and Big O had a super eye laser aka the Cromebuster. The crome buster could not be so accurate as to pick off the small androids alone and not fry anything else in the process.
Sorry if a seem to be ranting on and on.Embarrassed Sweatdrop but this is just one of those things that hit me and being the mecha guru that I am I had to point out and explain.

Whoops! I'll update the episodes just as soon as I get around to it (and not a second before). No point having things wrong then they can just as easily be right. Thanks for pointing it out.

Nobody ever refers to the eye lasers by name in the show, do they? The name is boring. Lasers -- how Sixties! (Now if they were, say Thirties, it would be cool.) I'll use a spiffy new name for them if I can think of one. Names are hard.
