However, if a pilot is required to initiate their startup again then how was the Megadeus from "The Call from the Past" ressurected? Unless perhaps the divers had accidently turned it on...Paradign after all had no use for the worthless megadeus. |
interesting point there.. well, it could be used to scare away the fishermen,. which it did...and possibly they were enviromentalists who decided to activate it to have that purpose.

And I would imagine that there would be...considering how industrial Paradign has become. But then again..with their memory wiped out...how would they have such an image ( an image of a clean, fertile city where vegetation thrives) to compare the situation to when they awoke to a city of ruin and darkness? Perhaps the deep sea contains "life" itself...found in vegetation and plants that survived the blast. Excuse me if it sounds a lil confusing but im trying to watch Big O and type at the same time...lol...

I'm not completely sure of the effects that an EMP blast have on a machine, especially a complex one, but I'm pretty sure, that if a megadues were using power, in motion, whatever... they would never wake again, if a car or plane has this affect on it, would something like a megadues have the problem too?
I do wonder however, if an EMP pulse might have the same effect on the human brain, after all it uses electrical impulses to control the body functions, and perphaps memory as well...........

its obvious the megadeus' have A.I. almost more advanced that dorothy with their ability to choose their pilots
An emp blast should destroy any electrical circuit, but therefore the megadeus' should never be able to operate again.
Chances are they developed EMP shielding(something that is just now becomming a concern with our military as well) so it had basic EMP shielding that only shut htem down for a period of time unless something else activated them

The people outside the domes are treated like trash, and they cannot stay in the domes because they are poor. To the rich inside it would be better to imagine the outside world didn't exist. That's why they close themselves in.
