Public Service Announcement from The Fallen Phoenix
(Hint, Hint:

The Fallen Phoenix walks onto the stage and addresses the audience.
Ahem...well, okay. I have a public service announcement to make! I've been observing (and posting in) this thread for quite a while, and I must admit, it is a nice, fun thread. However, there comes a point where everything gets out of control, and that is excatly what is happening here.
If it weren't for the title, several members probably wouldn't even know what the original topic of this thread was! Now, GK
tried to split the thread, but as you can tell it is getting very difficult to weed out the different sub-topics that have emerged in this thread (for those who don't know, it's actually pretty difficult to split threads...you can only split posts one page at a time, and this thread has 22 pages now...which makes for a very time consuming task.
How many of you remember the old Speakeasy thread? It was the first thread to 1,000 replies, and we all remember what happened to that thread, even after constant warnings to keep the post count down (you know, locked for weeks at a time until it was finally permanately locked and deleted)...
This thread is already nearing
half the amount of posts the Speakeasy had when it closed (actually, if you add in all the deletions, probably a quarter of the amount of posts), and this thread has only been up what? One, two days?
At the very least, if the thread doesn't return to its original topic, try to keep the post count down! When GK, Krang, and Shredder finally get around to cleaning through this thread, it'll be much easier to sift through if there aren't so many posts.
Indeed, it might come to the point that the only solution is to lock and/or delete the thread.
And I know a lot of members would be very unhappy by that.
Just keep these things in mind, is really all I ask from you. Thank you, and this ends the public service announcement from The Fallen Phoenix.
The Fallen Phoenix politely bows, then slowly walks off the stage as the crowd re-erupts into chaos.

Also, how many of you have heard about the EDIT button? You know, instead of double-posting, you can just edit additional stuff into your initial post...
