In a strange, perverse way, I like the theory. I mean, humans can create new generations, so perhaps powerful robots can create new worlds. (I'm assuming that the term sex is used in a metaphorical way)
After reading this thread, the phrase "Big O is a machine" takes on new meaning

When I first posted it, I was afraid that it wasn't POSSIBLE to come up with a Big O theory that was so bad that people wouldn't take it seriously. But my readers came through like heroes, and have admitted to no more than a sick fascination with it. I'm proud of all of you!

After going through Astronomy class, I'm more incline to believe the Bigs are tied to the 'creation of the universe' (the type involving the four forces of nature and the three flavors of quarks) type of work they do.
But as Clockwork Tomato pointed out, speculating on the 'reproductive' viewpoint of the Bigs is much more fun and hilarious in perverse ways.
