I havent seen it either, but, I've read many reviews about it in AI and websites and such, and is supposed to be like the best Lupin movie out there.

We have it on laser disc. It's possibly the most rewatchable of the Lupin series. As always, Miyazaki put his own stamp on the show with his interpretation of the characters and his loving portrayal of machinery.

Yes that is indeed the movie im talking off
I only got it on dvd cus it was directed by Miyazaki and so i didnt really know who Lupin was when i saw it lol.
None of the other movies are out on dvd either in the uk or the us

The first series doesn’t exist in the US. The second series is the one that you see on adult swim. That’s why in the first ep they are meeting again after 3 years. Geneon has 38 episodes of series 2 dubbed and are supposedly dubbing 50 more soon.

Yeah you guys are right 5 years. I’m glad I watched that again cuz I forgot the show Fujiko naked. @ Evan I think I saw “to be or nazi to be” on adult swim. I think they showed it as episode 14 once. I heard they put them out of order so that Lupin would have a fan base before they started showing nazi imagery.

Edit: nope I’m wrong again I’m thinking of “Hell Toupee,” another one w/ a guy that looks like Hitler. But I think “to be or nazi to be” will play tonight because episode two had the preview for “50 ways” before. Pioneer originally pulled “to be” for the reason I said above, so they might feel comfortable showing it now that Lupin is more popular.

To Be Or Nazi To Be is not on the adultswim.com schedule, so they will most likely NOT play it...stupid AS!!!

I don't get why you guys are complaining about 'Hitler's Legacy'. It's not much of a good episode. Although the ending is sooo funny.

Plus, one of the reasons they're not airing is because Geneon won't give it to them, or they don't have the rights. I doubt it's because of the whole Nazi thing. Hilter has shown up on so many Adult Swim shows, plus Family Guys 'Wish upon a Weinstein' is much, much more offensive than 'Hitler's Legacy'.

Hell Toupee has "Hutler" and a wannabe Germanish army. To Be or Nazi along with another episode (forgot he name at the moment >_< ) Aren't going to be shown for fear that their content will bring on lawsuits. That's probably the best (actually the worst frickin) reason there is.

'Hitler's Legacy' didn't air, because of Geneon. Cartoon Network didn't seem to mind airing it. But at the time, Geneon wanted Lupin III to be the next big thing (Which failed) and didn't want the third episode to be about Hitler. They thought it would really hurt the fandom.

Another episode? I'm guessing you're referring to the episode that comes after 'Little Princess of Darkness' called 'Revenge of La Nerd'? They reason it in'st airing is because it wasn't part of the order Cartoon Network made. If they do order more episodes, that'll be the first new one. IF they order more, but because of ratings, and the crappy timeslots I doubt it. Although I think they should atleast try to get 'Secert of Mamo'. Only a few nude scenes to edit. ;D

in tonight's episode, my sympathies go out to Jigen...getting hit over the head with an oar...jeez...
