I just got a new desktop image. On top of that, the same app that let's me make avatars lets me turn my snapshots into jpegs, so I can post my actual desktop. It's not much, and the size is reduced so it looks kinda bad.
The original image is

Seems like Windows 98 users are few and far between these days......
Anyway, I finally got a wallpaper. It's much better than my old astro-turf green background.....

What's the latest version of Longhorn? The last one I got that worked was a yucky buggy Windows XP with a Longhorn background. I downloaded this 400mb file one night that had an installation option screen that did just about nothing.

Crystalline, you rock on so many levels. That is one of the most divine desktops I have seen in my life.
** Gasp **
Wow is the only word that comes to mind. Kudos.

R.Smith, I bought it at:
www.the-big-o.net
They've got some wicked Big O images and desktops over there for sale, and I cut loose with my credit card, buying a few.

Oops.
I woulda' replied sooner, but I failed to check-up on this thread.
Eh...old age.
This is a page from that Big O website:
http://www.hi-nobori.net/shopping/big_o/index.html
It can be tricky to navigate around that place unless you can read Japanese, have someone that can do it for you, or just get lucky with the clicky-clicky.
Yeah, I bought 'em because I felt it would be the thing to do, and my credit card was getting cold.
