On Windows, press the Print Screen key on the keyboard. The computer will create a picture of the desktop, and will be copied to the clipboard. Go to your favorite image editing program, and press Ctrl-V (or Edit --> Paste) to paste the image into the program. You can then save it, and post it in the forums.
